Alex Shelley Reportedly Leaving TNA

According to various online reports, former TNA Tag Team Champion and X Division Champion Alex Shelley has finished his run with TNA. F4Wonline.com suggests that he made the decision to leave the company when his contract expires soon.

Shelley is a former TNA X-Division champion and held the TNA tag team championships with his Motor City Machine Guns partner Chris Sabin.

With the news that WWE has been reaching out to Cruiserweight talent for an all-cruiserweights show on the WWE Network this fall, the timing of Shelley asking for his release would make him eligible to participate in the project.

    Ive always liked Shelley’s ring work and style and would really like it if Sabin came with him cause they are a hell of a team and would greatly help the WWE tag division if they decide to revitalize it with the extra time on Raw

    WWE should’ve snatched a million of the X Division guys by now! They Have the best styles but WWE says they don’t like small guys. You can’t deny talent regardless of size.

    Bring Shelley into WWE, let him fight for Punk’s title. Would love to see him win the title from that jackass. And an eventual WWE reteam with Sabin would be awesome!
