Austin Teases Punk Match, Rock Hypes Mania, Twitter Metting

- The Rock spoke to PalmBeachPost.com and said that WWE’s decision to hold WrestleMania 28 at the Sun Life Stadium is what convinced him to return this year:

“It sealed the deal for me. It’s going to be a fun night, an electric night, but also a very emotional night, considering South Florida has been my home for over 20 years.”

- The Twitter meeting held last Monday by WWE officials has become a running joke among the WWE locker room, according to multiple sources.

- Despite his  recent health problems, Barry Windham is expected to attend Saturday night’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in Miami. Windham is being inducted with the Four Horsemen.

- WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin posted his latest video Q&A on BrokenSkullRanch.com and spoke about the possibility of wrestling WWE Champion CM Punk:

          is it REALLY that big of a deal? i never once wanted to see sting v. taker. idk why everyone wants to see it now. they’re two OLD ass men, do you really think it’d be an entertaining match? i don’t. but that’s just my opinion. personally, i don’t think it’d be worth cleaning vince’s ass with my tongue lol even at the peak of their careers

            Yea. They’re both old and the thing here is, I am young. I was around 5 years old when this two were in the peak of their careers. Never had the chance to actually see them in their heydays. I only see their matches on DVD. Well, at least I wanna see both of them finishing each other in real-time. And I was just kidding around. The hell will I ever go near Vince’s arse! lol. :D

    Vince Make CM Punk vs Stone Cold, Sting vs Undertaker, Alberto Del Rio vs HBK if you can and if not Alberto Del Rio vs Randy Orton and also Beth Phoenix vs Kharma or Beth Phoenix vs Madusa for Wrestlemania 29.

    Ok, I get wanting to see Undertaker vs. Sting. I get Hogan vs. The Rock. I understand why people wanted to see Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar. BUT WTF is up with this facination with Stone Cold and CM Punk? Two very different men, with different ring styles, different attitudes, different gimmicks, and different outlooks on life. Is it because we want to see a beer-guzzling, mudhole stompin’, redneck sumbitch kick the shit out of a skinny, tattooed, straight edge whiner?
     On second thought, nevermind. That sounds like an awesome match! Austin would beat his ass extra good. Then, in the “Insult to Injury” category, would give him a beer bath.
