According to reports, Jarrett was involved in backstage production meetings and was working in somewhat of an agent’s role.

Matt Boone has been a huge wrestling fan since the Attitude Era. He writes for and

so what, 2-3 months before he books himself to be champion again?

    • HesFAT

Let me guess you’re a major Buh Buh Ray Dudley mark.

      • raven

no but I do think he is doing the best work of his career and for a few months he was the best heel in wrestling.
The storyline is watered down and far past it’s prime now but bubba puts on good matches, great promos, and is the best heel option TNA has.
what’s the link of Jarrett constantly booking himself as champion and Dudley “marks”? you think only a mark would be upset if JJ beat Bully for the title? the way I see it, only a mark would be happy JJ is champion of anything

It doesn’t matter who books who for what down there, they have proven time and time again that no matter what they choose to do or who they push, or make champion no one seems to care. 1.5 – 1.7 to .9 ratings in a little over 4 years ought to tell someone something like “hey, this …. is just not working!”

          • raven

much of that time spent with JJ as champion, in main event segments, and central storyline.

          • Robert

That is true. They don’t seem to get the message. That company is just not doing it. You know for an arrogant a-hole that is full of himself, you know your wrestling! KUDOS.

            Average TNA ratings…( 2009 – 1.14)… (2010 – 1.06)… (2011 – 1.17)… 2012 is unavailable…. (1.01 today). Just to show they weren’t getting 1.5 to 1.7 ratings. RAWS ratings have fallen almost the same amount over this time. 3.57 in 2009 to 3.09 today.

I miss spoke. I meant to say they were broadcasting 1.5 to 1.7 million individuals which that much was true. Now they are doing good if they could stay above 1 million. Thanks for catching that. Side note: The only time they drew a 1.5 rating I believe was the Jan 4th Monday Night experiment if memory serves me correctly.

        • Hershey Maxwell Barber

Yeah, I really liked him from 2004-2005, maybe a little of 2006.

That was when TNA was still hot though.

    • the4thwiseman

He hasn’t been champ for years…..

      • raven

hasn’t been on tv or in this role in years either
