Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future, Rikishi At SmackDown, WWE Tryout Camp

– Brock Lesnar is not expected back on WWE television until late December or early January, in time for the Royal Rumble. At one point, Brock Lesnar vs. CM Punk was discussed for October’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, but no word lately on whether that match is still going to happen.

– With Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards attending WWE’s upcoming training camp at the new Performance Center, it appears both men have finished up with Ring of Honor.

– Former WWE star Rikishi was backstage at Tuesday night’s SmackDown tapings from Las Vegas, visiting his sons The Usos. Here’s a photo from Instagram of Rikishi with the Greak Hali:

Please sign the American Wolves WWE. Would love to see them help the tag division.
American wolves vs Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns!

I don’t know if Richards will want to go to WWE. He’s said in interviews before that he doesn’t think he could work a WWE-style match. I remember him specifically saying how he is only used to working matches that last around 20+ minutes and that he wouldn’t be comfortable wrestling a quick 5-10 minute match.

      • solidus

Money changes thing though. But i wonder, if he said all that why bother with a tryout?

        • pwnez

Richards doesn’t need money. He’s actually one of the wealthier wrestlers on the indy scene. He mentioned that once he finished up with ROH that he would like to try and go to NJPW. Was it an actual tryout or were they just there checking the place out?

I would love to see him in WWE but a part of me doesn’t think it will happen.

That’s what I thought too, I remember the interviews where he said he wouldn’t want to go to WWE. But ROH has made a lot of changes and a lot of guys seem to be jumping ship for WWE. If I didn’t know any better I’d think that the WWE has seen the success of Bryan and Punk and are grabbing any and all talent they can from ROH now.

before this happened khali saw mae young vagina and was given the butt to the face move by rikishi

No Brock till December/January? That sucks.

Seeing Lesnar in another HIAC match would be cool but I doubt it will happen. His match with Undertaker in 2002 was pretty good.

The American Wolves coming to WWE? I never thought I’d see the day that Davey Richards would go to WWE.

Both guys are top tier workers, I can’t wait to see what they will do in WWE when they’re put in the ring with guys like Sami Zayn, Cesaro, Bryan, Ohno, Rollins, Ambrose, etc… the future is indeed looking bright!

    • pwnez

I think it’s safe to say they wouldn’t go to TNA especially in the condition it’s in. I would love to see the American Wolves in WWE but that leads me to think that no other team would be able to keep up with them unless WWE watered Richards and Edwards down a lot.

They’ve had some amazing matches with Zayn, Bryan, Rollins, Ohno and Cesaro in ROH so it would be cool to watch them perform in WWE together.

      • Forceton Banfodder

I think like KOW, they’ll probably break the American Wolves up. They want these guys for the talent, not their tag team. I’d truly be shocked if they broke their trend and kept them together after breaking up KOW.

But, if the rumors of the Briscoes jumping to WWE true, and the American Wolves… wouldn’t it be something if WWE’s rebuild of the Tag Division was just a recruiting of ROH’s tag division.

        • pwnez

The only thing Richards and Edwards would need training on is their promo skills. Neither guy can talk very well and cut a decent promo. Wrestling wise, they are amazing and Richards IMO is on the same level as Bryan. I think it’s a long shot that they could be signing but if they do i’ll mark out.

          • Forceton Banfodder

Considering they signed El Generico, Chris Hero, Claudio, Black, etc… I won’t be too shocked if they get signed too.

I just read a story from yesterday that Briscoes are expected to go back to ROH, so… oh well.

  • pwnez

And ROH loses two top wrestlers; that company is looking just as bad as TNA is. I still have my doubts that Davey Richards will sign with WWE but I think it’s possible that Eddie Edwards would.

  • doobie

    He’s so Hali, he don’t even know he’s Hali…

  • Awesome

Brock Lesnar vs Sheamus would be good!

  • Derringer Duo

I find it so hilarious that Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards are in a “training center”. Those two could teach the entire WWE training staff a thing or two about how to wrestle. The only thing they will train them to do is dial down their style and have less interesting matches. (Until they come across Punk, The Shield, Bryan or Cesaro.)

  • Mrs. Ambrose

I would not mind seeing Cm Punk vs Brock Lesnar match

  • 7962

What have I missed? Why wouldnt Lesnar be around that long?

  • $li€’ Ri€ ‘Da Rulah

i can admit that i don’t generally follow ROH all that much, but, WTF is happening over there?! Is it Jim Cornette, what am i missing that ROH is being called ‘a sinking ship’?!
