Chris Jericho Returns To WWE This Weekend, Dead Man Down Gets “Rotten” Reviews

- Chris Jericho will be returning to action this Saturday at WWE RAW’s live event from Broomfield, Colorado.

- The new WWE Studios film Dead Man Down, featuring Intercontinental champion Wade Barrett, has been declared “Rotten” by review aggregation site RottenTomatoes.com. With 36 critic reviews in, the movie currently has a score of 39/100. Their quick review reads:

“While the fine cast keeps Dead Man Down watchable throughout, the film is weighted down by absurd plot twists and a slack pace.”

      Its a saturday event.I’m not sure if he’ll b at Mania or Raw 4 that matter(I don’t think so).The card is already stacked as it is.There’s no need to include him on the card IMO.With names like Taker,Rock,HHH,Lesnar on the bill what’s the point.

        You make a very good point, I agree, having Undertaker and The Rock on one show will sell A LOT yet alone having Lesnar and HHH. I would like to see HHH face Lesnar in an extreme rules match too as it seems they are going to go ahead with it.

          God I hope not! HHH vs Lesnar 2 is enough.If anything they should have waited till after Mania to start their feud in order to sell ER(Altho now the Rock is booked).Lesnar needs to be built up as an unstoppable force,the mans got a 2 yrs contract!! He needs to defeat Hunter at Mania (why does HHH need the win he’ll be gone after Mania) go for the title n have new cats challenge him for said title.That way while those new cats would lose,it would bring credit to that wrestler seeing him take on Lesnar.Prolly even catapult them even higher than they already r.Just my opinion of course.XD

      I look at it differently, Jericho comes in and gives people boost, does matches on Raw, etc.. The Rock doesn’t, is it Rock’s fault? No. Rock gets too much shit in my opinion.

    shocking a wwe film gets abad review for a terrible story…i haven’t heard that one since their last movie, and the one before that, and the one before that, and before that….etc

      I wouldn’t call it a wwe film persay..yeah they put a few dollars into it, but that film is obviously not a wwe film. Rotten Tomatoes is a joke as film reviewers. I guarantee that most people will enjoy this film (Dead Man Down)….’The Marine 3′ (which truly sucked) on the other hand was indeed a wwe film, the look, the action and actors of course, which by the way contained many of the same actors from a recent wwe film ‘The Day’.

    If the Rock came back occasionally for a brief run for nostalgia purposes then i don’t think he would get as much grief as he is getting now. There is no way in hell he should have ever been strapped as champion. They know he is going to be constantly promoting one of the 300 movies he is making this year and will miss a fair amount of time. I mean come on..he misses some RAWs and every house show. It almost seems like he is using WWE for nothing more than a self promotion tool… but that’s not to say i wouldn’t do the same thing. But just because i would do it too doesn’t make it right for the fans.The fans at these house shows NEVER get to see the champ… I hardly think that’s fair.

Meanwhile, Victor goes out of his way to return a Tupperware container provided by Beatrice’s mother (Isabelle Huppert). Evidently, sometimes continuity does matter.”….Variety.
