Details On The Big Names Coming To TNA Soon

Regarding new faces coming into TNA, it’s said that the company has 6-7 confirmed names that will be coming in soon, if not tonight on iMPACT then in the next few weeks.

* Rumored names like Ric Flair, Rob Van Dam, Paul Heyman and Sid are not expected to be there tonight. Heyman may not happen at all and Van Dam’s reported signing has not been confirmed. Sid is expected to come in soon but was recently injured overseas.

* It is confirmed that Angelina Love has re-signed with TNA and with the company requesting the entire roster tonight, she is expected to be there also.

* Scott Hall and Sean “X-Pac” Waltman are said to be pretty much a lock for tonight’s live show. Hall was telling people at the Hulk Hogan debut party yesterday that Waltman would be with him on iMPACT. Hall also was overheard saying they were trying to get Kevin Nash to dye his hair dark again.

* Ken Anderson, formerly Mr. Kennedy in WWE, is said to be the most likely name to appear tonight.

TNA has reportedly asked the entire roster to be in attendance tonight, including Sting.

They’d better do this thing right tonight. If it’s just something lame, they’ll kill the new potential Monday Night War before it even gets started. TNA has an opportunity to appeal to the wrestling purists… those who were fans of the original ECW and/or the WWF Attitude Era… because their top guys are far better WRESTLERS than WWE’s top people. WWE is clearly now about appealing to families and kiddies and this is a real opportunity to sway the pure wrestling fan over to their side, if they do it right. Thus, if you’re going to rumor big people, you’d better produce big people. And sorry, X-Pac & Angelina Love are not big people, and Scott Hall & Kennedy aren’t enough by themselves to justify the hype. Is this going to be real change for wrestling and is everyone going into this seriously, or is just going to be a place for Hogan & Bischoff and company to get all their friends together to party?

I think it would be cool to see the nWO together, and I can’t wait to see Anderson om TNA, but I was really hoping for big names like Flair, Heyman and RVD to show up tonight, too. They said they have a lot of surprises. If they don’t deliver, it’s going to turn a lot of people off. I agree, they have a chance to really bring the hardcore fans over who grew up watching wrestling in the 80s and 90s.

Yeah, but they’ll f it up, just wait and see… TNA has a perfect track record for a f**kin’ up a wet dream everytime they get the chance to do something that’ll actually make them a legit competitor to WWE someday.

blah, blah, blah. TNA needs these big names to even have a chance to compete with WWE. TNA is a retirement home. I’m surprised we havent seen Mickey Rourke at TNA. Flair had a his run wooo great, he’s old and cant hang with the big names anymore. Heyman is fat and annoying and no one likes him. RVD would be cool if he can still do it. Good God, I am a huge Jeff Hardy fan and I hope he comes back. But why TNA, his home is WWE.
