Fans Hijack NXT Tapings With CM Punk Chants, Signs Confiscated

WWE fans voiced their displeasure with CM Punk’s departure at Thursday night’s NXT tapings from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

According to multiple reports, fans at the show have been chanting “CM Punk” all night. The staff at Full Sail University also confiscated multiple CM Punk signs prior to the show. As you can imagine, this got a ton of heat from the crowd.

At the beginning of the taping, the audience was asked to chant “NXT” – but the raucous crowd rejected the request and chanted for Punk instead.

It will be interesting to say the least when WWE tapes RAW from Punk’s home town of Chicago on March 3rd.
