TNA star Jeff Hardy

After a shocking appearance by Jeff Hardy at Monday’s TNA iMPACT! tapings, SEScoops.com can confirm that the former WWE Champion has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling. Here are some of the key details to this story:

– Jeff Hardy is now a full-time member of the TNA roster and will be working a regular television and PPV schedule.

– The main reason Jeff Hardy jumped to TNA is the work schedule and  is at the point where he doesn’t want to deal with the grueling WWE travel schedule.  In TNA, he can still remain a top star in the industry and make great money while working and traveling far less.

– On iMPACT!, we saw Jeff Hardy attack X-Division star Homicide. A feud between the two appears to be in the works. “Anything could change and I could do something else or Jeff could do something else at the TV tapings on Tuesday, and I think it would be a great match-up of Jeff Hardy vs. Homicide. I’m really hoping it will happen,” Homicide said on the “Right After Wrestling” radio program on SIRIUS channel 98.

– Jeff Hardy was in meetings with Hulk Hogan and Dixie Carter throughout the day on Monday ironing out the terms of his agreement. Its believed that nothing was locked up until Jeff’s visit to Orlando on Monday.

– On Tuesday, Jeff Hardy was indicted on the drug charges against him and his case will be moving on to Superior Court. READ MORE

– Jeff Hardy’s girlfriend Beth posted a message on Twitter responding to rumors that Jeff he signed with TNA after having a verbal agreement to return to WWE:

“I have no idea where these reports are coming from saying Jeff “had a verbal agreement to return to WWE by a certain date.”That’s 100% false”

i cant wait till little kids find out about this….

What Hardy did has just hurt his fans to the core. He basically said to them, “The rules don’t affect me, so if I get a drug charge, so what I can always change companies.” He was on two strikes with the WWE, so TNA an obvious choice. He screwed the WWE, the fans, and CM Punk, who was against Hulk Hogan in TNA.

That’s right. He did screw many fans. I was so disapointed when I saw him there. I don’t evn feel like buying his las DVD no more.

What Jeff Hardy did was burn WWE, and that’s awesome.

I’ll admit it, I’m a TNA smark, but that’s because they’re the better WRESTLING product and Vince has screwed the fans over for the last 3 years, even more with his bs programming these days.

I think we need to update the old smark term “X-Pac Heat” with “Cena Heat” because the real wrestling fans don’t like him, don’t want to see him, and want him to leave. And that’s all there is to that, jack.

WWE will be fine w/o him. He’s not a big loss for the company. Yeah, he’s a great performer inside the ring but man, he’s got no mic skills and not a great story teller. Matt is even better than him on the mic.

  • alinoor

Good Gosh .. all i can think of is whats MATT HARDY goin to go thru because of this.. !! WWE is goin to “FRY” him .. like WWE did with Jim the anvil, British Bulldog when bret hart left ..

  • T-Rev

Jeff did what is best for Jeff. He was a free agent. So he did the logical thing…he works alot less and make great money. So if you switch to spike to watch him wrestle you will see him at his best. He will always be rested and healthy when he does the OMG moves that he is known for. You would have seen a better OMG move anyway if homicide could have actually get out of the cage.

Who are these supposed Jeff Hardy fans who were “screwed”. Apparently you are really WWE fans, because how can someone screw his fans by living his life. Did he not get your approval or something? If you were a fan, maybe you would read the story and see that WWE is overworking the people you are fans of and maybe they want to live their life.

  • uhavnosac

I agree with Heim. Jeff didn’t “screw” his fans. Sure, it’s a little unfortunate that he didn’t re-sign with the WWE since I still consider TNA the minor leagues, but hey, that’s his choice. Hmmmm….less work, more money. Sign me up. As long as you are a Jeff Hardy fan, and he doesn’t go to prison, you can still see him on a weekly basis. But, the part I disagree with that Heim wrote was the “overworking” of the WWE wrestlers. Their schedule ISN’T EVEN CLOSE to what it was compared to the old days. NWA wrestlers used to be on the road 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. Most WWE wrestlers get 1-2 days off a week. I don’t want to hear it. That’s what they have signed up for since the beginning of time and none of them especially Lashley and Lesnar should bitch about it.

i agree with Heim.free agents switch teams all the time so why condemn Jeff Hardy he has 2 live also get over it i like WWE n i like TNA Vince jus has 2 step it up a notch now glad i have a DVR lol this makes things more interesting i wuz starting 2 get bored

  • HellRaiser

i too agree with helms i just hope hardy will be a main event player like he whas when he left wwe and not drop back to mid-card status
