HBK Meeting With HHH Tonight, WWE Star Won’t Miss Maryse

– Shawn Michaels hinted on Twitter that he will be meeting Triple H tonight in Miami, Florida.

He wrote, “Bat phone ringing off the hook!! Gotta meet my partner in crime in Miami tonight. What in the heck does WWE have going on in Miami?? :-) ”

The Miami-Dade Sports Commission, in partnership with WWE, are holding The WrestleMania XXVIII On-Sale Celebration tomorrow from 7 to 10 p.m. at Bayfront Park, Miami. The On-Sale Celebration marks the official kick-off for WrestleMania XXVIII on April 1 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens.

– Goldust, who helps train WWE’s female performers, was on asked on Twitter if he will miss Maryse now that she’s no longer affiliated with the sports entertainment organization. He replied, “No.” He then issued a warning to his followers.

“Quit asking me about maryse or get blocked.”

– WWE returns to the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.

    Godust blocks many people every day, this is nothing new. All you have to do is look to the right of the page to see what a horrible attitude he has.

    It’s a shame because I really liked the guy. This guy has no respect for his fans. Most of the tweets toward him are somewhat intelligent and respectful. It’s not like he’s being trolled. The guy is the most bitter celebrity on Twitter by leaps and bounds.

      Young fans… smh watch some WCW from the 80′s Dustin Rhodes great wrestler, Barry Windham great wrestler those two had great matches.  Before wrestling was about telling stories on commentary and they told stories in the ring.

          Um, what about when he was tagging with Windham and Steamboat, feuding with Rick Rude, or feuding with Razor Ramon?

          Those moments were definitely more defining than the tag team with Booker and the match with Piper.

    this was a little delayed…lol…=P…but yeah Goldust is a dickhead…you could ask him a normal question and he’d block you…=/…I haven’t been blocked by him but once someone asked him what type of music he liked and he just blocked them…so in the end I got pissed off and just unfollowed him…seriously the dude has no respect for his fans whatsoever…=/

    Goldust was a good wrestler and is still somewhat decent (whenever he does wrestle) but his attitude is a buzz kill and a disappointment.

          Maybe you should look at Ric Flair. Didn’t he retire in 2008 at Wrestlemania 24? He wrestles in TNA. Shawn has competed since retiring.

            I dislike and lost respect for Flair because of that; believe me I didn’t forget about him. HBK said he was staying away from WWE for awhile, yet he continues to make numerous appearances. I don’t see why he is going to get inserted into a storyline if he’s retired. Edge even decided to stay away from the WWE after they tried using him more and more.

            I don’t because he didn’t want to retire. Whether he should have or not isn’t the point. WWE should have just gave him a nice send-off match and let him hit the road. It was kind of weird, like putting a horse down(since he was very vocal about not wanting to retire). Again, he didn’t retire, WWE retired him, big difference.

          I have horrible taste. I want people to think I know good workers. I bet if you asked anybody in wrestling including Davey Richards to name the top 5 pro wrestlers of all time Shawn michaels and Ric Flair would be in almost every single list. Thats not good enough for me I shouldnt even watch its so easy to slam someone else work when I can create anything myself…well except baby batter on my moms basement floor

            I care MORE about in-ring ability, but in the WWE (in there eyes at least) you need more than that. Wrestling should be the number 1 but it’s not and it won’t ever be like that. He’s made more than 3 appearances lol. He’s retired for a reason, yes?

          lol i’ll be impressed when you have your own opinions rather than trying to impersonate someone else.. but no one said hbk & flair were bad wrestlers.. just that when it’s over, accept it & move on. i respect that hbk did move on, however i feel it’s hhh who won’t let him stay gone. or vince. someone is begging him to come back for the ratings boost. they don’t know what to do anymore (because they can’t see their product is complete garbage) so they’re trying to rehash all the old stuff, all the old wrestlers, and storylines that DID work, but doing them with a pg spin. no wonder why it’s gonna fail. we’ve seen it already and now that it’s diluted it’s lost even more of it’s drawing power. can you really call what flair does “wrestling” anymore? well.. i guess it’s better than that pathetic display jeff hardy called a “title match”, so ya got me there. and who lets that stuff hit the floor? only a complete slob with no consideration for others, or cleanliness.. i’m sure he uses some kind of tissue or other receptacle when he does that lol. you gotta understand what he’s saying before you rip into him. it’s not that they’re bad, it’s that they’re past their prime. what do you do when something expires? get rid of it. although i feel hbk would be tolerable in a position of power, better than laurinaitis.. hell, i’d take him on commentary over cole.. as far as wrestling goes, well, i think when you get a send off wwe style, you should respect all the effort / money / time they put into it and leave your boots hung up.

            actually I think he did or has in older post said they were overrated workers. I like what Bret Hart says in his book . The only way to truly tell who isnt a good worker is to be in the ring with them. Since I dount pwnez has ever wrestled anyone in his life his opinion holds little merrit to me.However I will agree with you about being time to hang it up esp in Flairs case however I love HBK and anytime he is back in wwe I love it.To be clear he has had maybe 15 min of tv time and hasnt wrestled at all.Also you have to remember that not all of WWE fans have been watching for 20 yrs like us my son loves wwe and he is 9 and doesnt have a knowledge of past event,but we go to alot of shows and buy merch.So you have to understand why wwe would naturally cater to that audience.Not saying i want it that way but there are several contributing factors as to why things are that way.Also I find it ironic that the same ppl (not nessescarily you ,just had to get it off my chest)  that complain about pg also complain about workrate last time I checked pg has little to do with in ring action. In fact some of wwe best matches were in a pg era (perfect michaels hart ect).Personally I use a sock just sayin.

      No, he’s an excellent wrestler. Was awesome as “The Natural” and had a great career before the WWF/E. He was so good that he actually made the ridiculous Goldust gimmick work. Lots of people care, as they should. He is/was that good. Had some classic singles and tag team matches in WCW and had a a fantastic(and very successful) first run in WWF. That’s why he has so many loyal fans. Too bad he turned out to be a world class douchebag.

      no. f*ck people like you. people who think just because someone’s popular that they’re an up & comer. ryder will forever be upper midcard for his entire career. and daniel bryan, as good as he may be, he’s boring. what does wwe do with boring? bury them. only people who will hold anyone back is themselves. the “old timers” as you say, were the biggest draws for the company. yes hogan and savage and andre the giant were big names, but that was when wrestling was considered a “redneck” sport. michaels, the rock, hhh, stone cold, undertaker, they made the company more of a mainstream kind of atmosphere. then you got people like john cena, morrison, kingston/ bourne who are turning it into a kid-friendly place. that’s not gonna raise ratings, hell, it lowers them. you kids today gotta show some respect for those who came before you and did it better. AND THAT’S THE BOTTOM LINE!!!! ‘CAUSE DINGUS NIPPLESON SAID SO!!! <- or is that over your head?

    Trip /HBK should do a “search for the NEW DX” kinda thing. Make it a months- long storyline leading up to WM, then crown a couple of the young (but definitely ESTABLISHED) guys, good or bad, with the name DX. Give them a year between WM’s to develop the story, help build up the Tag division, create alliances and rivalries… while HBK goes back to retirement, and Trip stays off TV doing the COO thing.  The conclusion might be: Maybe the new guys start to run the name of DX into the ground or whatever, and right around Royal Rumble or so, Trip and HBK return to save the DX legacy, leading up to a DXvsDX match at WM29. Whether you love HBK, or inexplicably hate him, something like this, if done properly (PROPERLY, Wwe!), could make money.
     But WWE would drop the ball, and we’d likely end up with a “Cena/Orton DX”/ As much as I like Orton, that would be retarded.
     In fact, just nevermind. I have some old AWA matches in the VCR. I’ll just go watch that.
