John needs to turn heel one day….

It would be the biggest heel turn in history if he did.

      • fatneal

        it wouldnt matter

        • ibeBrave

          (Face palm)

          • fatneal

its true…wwe doesnt make “ruthless aggression” “attitude era” programming anymore…his turn would be note worthy but nothing special

            ps
            i missed the sarcasm

      • gdaddy1971

IF they were to ever do that, and IF they were to do it right, it could be right up there with the Hogan turn when he joined the NWO. But those are really big if’s in there. Especially with the financial trouble right now, WWE is not going to jeopardize one of their big money makers at this point in time. I’m not saying it wouldn’t be a good move for the future (once again, if done right), but I don’t see it happening any time soon.

        • ibeBrave

Yea thats what I was thinking too. Maybe 4-5 years from now

      • Kayfaber

He’s incapable of a heel turn

      • TVR

Would a heel turn really work with Cena? Ppl have been asking for a heel turn since the dawn of time lol. If it happens im afraid ppl are gonna cheer the heel turn and not boo him just because his heel turn finally happend lol

    • Cena Swallows

Crap he’s just getting started !

      • Aperture

He said that 10 years ago…what the hell, John!

      • Elvin Zammit

        haha suck $h!t

      • Jose Mourinho

And he is jealous of Dwayne.

    • Cena Swallows

Call me crazy but here me out : Cena turning heel could be the start of the Attitude Era 2.0 ..I know I know but listen , Cena comes out to fans booing him every night when he’s supposedly “fighting for them” now he turns heel and we got Cena as the top heel of the company , we’re already cheering for heels like Wyatt, BNB , Cesaro etc plus we got guys like Rusev , Brock , Bo Dallas who we already are supposed to hate , Golddust and Stardust can be the huge freak shows of the era , and we can have faces like , Dolph, Adam Rose , the Usos , Sandow and a new era is born ….

      • brad

First of all there will never be another attitude era, but with that in mind the wwe should go back to being tv-14 again because the pg era sucks so bad I mean the gimmicks they come up with are just awful. At least the wrestling is still have way decent though that’s honestly the only reason that I still watch it, well that and the fact that there are still some of the guys left from the attitude- ruthless aggression era but the gimmicks and story lines with a select few exceptions like the evolution- shield storyline have been terrible ever since the wwe went pg.

        • Smalls

A little bit of blood and a few swear words aren’t going to make it better. Saying they should go back to tv-14 just shows how uneducated you are. It’s not up to the WWE to make that decision, the network, USA, makes those decisions so it looks like you’re stuck with what’s there. You’re not a real wrestling fan if you need the attitude era for excitement. The Golden days of wrestling during the 80’s and early 90’s were PG and look how much love that timeframe gets.

          • brad

You’re an uneducated fan for not realizing that I didn’t say bring back the attitude era I said that there will never be another attitude era and that’s a fact, because weather you realized it or not or better yet weather you were even alive yet you probably didn’t know that the attitude era was only the most popular era in the history of professional wrestling. Now with that in mind I understand that wrestling is a business that has to keep evolving and I’m not exactly saying that pg is a bad thing I just think maybe a change should soon to become. Like I said pg isn’t a bad thing as I grew up watching old tapes from the 80’s and early 90’s when it was pg and don’t get me wrong it was pg when it went mainstream thanks to the Hulkster but it was also pg and the terrible storylines that led to the wcw beating the wwe in rating for 84 weeks and almost running them out of business before the attitude era was born and wrestling hit an all time high. So next time check the facts before you jump into something you have no idea about, but I’ll give you some credit when the wwe first made the move to this modern pg era it was a good thing I mean they were making money and sure it was more kid friendly and they were doing a lot of more charitable work and then you also have cena who sells a lot of merchandise not as much as hogan, rock or Austin but he still holds the company up. However recently Vince just lost another 350,000,000, once again another and you could argue that he lost it because of the wwe network but that was just the second one, now with that in mind you have to take in account that Vince is in a quite precarious spot and I think that change should ultimately be inevitable and you never know maybe changing from a pg show to a tv-14 could be the change, because it seems with all of the past changes he has done since 06 have done nothing but hurt the company.

            • gdaddy1971

Actually, what led to WCW beating WWE for that period was the emergence of the NWO. It wasn’t the PG programming or terrible storylines.

            • brad

I didn’t say that I said that the wwe was pg and had some terrible shorelines going on around the time that the nwo came to town.

          • brad

But I’ll one up you what they really need above all else is some new writers, I arrest my case have a good day and try to cheer up some buddy.

          • Noah

The 80’s and 90’s get so much love cause it was the best. That was when WWE was good with Saturday Night’s Main Event. And The Main Event.I’d take those wrestling days over today’s wrestling. You might not have been alive during those times.Back then you actually had big matches on free tv.On NBC.For example,The Wrestlemania 3 rematch between Andre The Giant and Hulk Hogan for the title was on NBC.That show with the Andre/Hogan rematch is still the highest rated wrestling show in history.WWE way back then and The Attitude Era is WAY better then today’s WWE.

      • A Realist

I’ve given up on that notion. I’ve grown to really love the WWE Network, because now I can go back and relive the glory days. Before everything started to Cena. I’m sorry. Suck.

    • piccolo jr

maybe its just me but I feel that Cena adds a certain element to the match fans want to see him lose which really heats up the crowd and makes the match that much better just My opinion

    • http://www.rabidpictures.com yrabadi

Ah, I like John. I hope he starts putting younger guys over more often though, and of course, I wouldn’t mind a heel turn one day.

    • Steve Williams

I use to watch WWF/E like a religion until you came and plagued WWE Cena, you and the PG garbage has killed WWE

      • ruch d

so wwe turning to pg is cena’s fault???

        • Progressed_Now

technically it would be Benoit’s. but he ain’t around so we might as well take a shiit on the next best thing who deserves it more anyway.

          • Marvin B.

Lol brah I love your comments

      • Noah

You say you use to watch WWE like alot of people on here say they use to watch it or they say there done watching soon. But they still watch it.And still come on here to talk about WWE.The people that say they use to watch or done watching soon are full of crap.

        • Steve Williams

I just read what’s going on…I only watch WM so watching 5% of their total TV time, I wouldn’t really consider it as watching…and i am sure it goes for alot of people who ‘use to watch wwe’

    • insomniacreviewer

I think Cena isn’t worried about being a movie star just yet, he’s got a few more years left of burying wrestlers.

      • gdaddy1971

There’s that stupid broken record again.

        • Progressed_Now

          you’d know all about “stupid”

          • gdaddy1971

            Brilliant comeback

          • insomniacreviewer

You might as well ignore the Cena fan boys like Desmond and captain autism himself gdaddy, they know nothing about the business. gdaddy1971 actually said that when the WWE brought back the WHC that the WHC was instantly more prestigious then the WWE Title because it was on Raw lol.

            • gdaddy1971

You are so F*cking retarded, Captain Dipsh!t. Anybody who understands the business and doesn’t agree with your idiotic comments is automatically called a “Cena Fan Boy” and told that they know nothing. You show that you have no knowledge of wrestling every time you make a comment on this site. You complain and say that Cena never puts people over when he has several times over the years, but you just don’t want to admit it. You want to say that Cena buries everybody because he never loses, but you will never admit that Vince is the one who makes those decisions, not him. You want to say that Cena doesn’t care about the business and doesn’t help the young guys, but will never acknowledge it when other wrestlers come out and say how good he is to people behind the scenes. You want to try to say that Cena only does Make-A-Wish because WWE wants him to do it for PR, when the truth is that the people are the ones who make the request for him, not the WWE.
You can say all you want that I know nothing about the wrestling business. I have watched wrestling for over 35 years and have forgotten more about it than you will ever know in your lifetime. And if you want to try to diss me with facts, at least get them right, you illiterate bonehead. I never said that the World Title was more prestigious than the WWE Title. I said that WWE PROMOTED it as the top title during the brand split when it was featured on RAW and the WWE Title was featured on Smackdown (which they looked at as the “B” show), which is completely true. You can go back and look it up, or watch it on the network, if you are smart enough to do that.

            • Donny Octave

Damn, couldn’t of said it better myself!

      • Donny Octave

My god will you shut the f*ck up?! Cena, isn’t burying anybody! Triple H, isn’t burying anybody! Y’know who’s doing all the burying? A senile old fart who goes by the name of VINCENT KENNEDY MCMAHON! Vinny Mac has the last say in everything, so just quit with the Cena Burying Everybody joke, it’s nowhere near entertaining, and nobody’s going to praise you for it, seeing as it’s obviously what you’re trying to do: Get attention. Well, you got it now, and you won’t like it.

        • insomniacreviewer

Oh wow everyone watch out we got an internet tough guy lol. I don’t care about attention, my problem is Cena doesn’t give a crap about the business and refuses to put people over.

          • scott

If Cena didn’t care about the business he would turn heel which would in fact probably hurt the company. That’s the reason he stays face and takes crowd boos with some cheers night after night and why he does all these interviews and does all these Make-A-Wishes because hes the company guy. If he didn’t care believe me he wouldn’t be there anymore

            • insomniacreviewer

If Cena actually cared about the business he would put over wrestlers and the Make A Wish stuff is all for PR.

            • Noah

John Cena does care about the business. If he didn’t,He would of been gone by now. Also if he didn’t care about the business,WWE wouldn’t of made him the poster boy.We all know you don’t like John Cena. You don’t need to say it all the time on here.Talk about something else.John Cena will still be around for years to come and will still be the poster boy.Deal with it.

            • insomniacreviewer

Of course Cena sticks around, he is the top guy and buries everyone. Anyone who actually cares about the business puts over other wrestlers, even triple h puts over people.

          • Donny Octave

How do you know this? Do you have inside information? Do you know Cena personally? I highly doubt it. The way i see it, people use this excuse for someone who’s wrestled Cena in the past and lost to him that would be a 20 time world champion in their fantasy world, but is not and most likely never will be a top guy, so they just use Cena as an excuse, saying he “buried” them. You people have no idea what buried means in wrestling terms. Allow me to give you the legitimate definition of the wrestling term “Bury”.

Bury – The act of a promoter or booker causing a wrestler to lose popularity by forcing him to lose in squash matches, continuously, and/or participate in unentertaining or degrading storylines. It can be a form of punishment for real-life backstage disagreements or feuds between the wrestler and the booker, the wrestler falling out of favor with the company, or the wrestler receiving an unpopular gimmick that causes him to lose credibility regardless of win-loss record.

Now, sure you can make an argument like this for a Sandow, but people like Wyatt and Ziggler getting “buried” because of Cena is a pointless argument. Last i checked, Bray Wyatt was still going strong, and the only reason Ziggler went down is because Swagger kicked his frickin head off his shoulders. Don’t feed me this Cena buries everybody he shares the ring with bullcrap, because if that’s all you’ve got, you need to go find a different bandwagon to jump on. I think the “Rest In Peace, TNA” bandwagon still has some room if you want to go there.

And before you start calling me a Cena/PG Lover or TNA die hard, i’ll set the records straight. I have never been a Cena fan, even when he was first on Smackdown. He’s annoying, he’s always been annoying, and he’ll always be annoying. I can’t stand the John Cena character, but i can respect Cena’s charity work, whether it be forced like some people want to believe, or if he truly gives a damn, it’s a cool thing to do, and i can respect that. And TNA, go back to the old days of TNA, i could of said that i was a TNA fan with pride, TNA was actually good back in it’s early days, but now, the place is the titanic, and it won’t be much longer before they hit the friggin iceberg. It’s almost embarrassing to say you’re a fan of TNA these days.

So there you have it, i’ve put you and everybody else on the “Cena Buries” bandwagon back in proper place, and shot off any other comebacks worth trying to put on me. And like scott said, if Cena didn’t care, he’d be pulling a Brock Lesnar.

            • insomniacreviewer

Wrestlers can bury other wrestlers and you can make up all the b.s. excuses you want, but an indisputable fact is even Triple H is putting over wrestlers like the Shield and Cena is burying everyone. any wrestlers who ever cared about the business does the right thing and puts people over, he might as well be another Brock Lesnar.

    • Progressed_Now

ye ye ye!! Chena, follow in the Crock’s footsteps asap, that way we won’t have to see your stupid ass for several years!!

    • Y2J

Just getting started? O yeah, he’s still got like 15 more title reigns to go…rough estimate of course.

    • Buzzard Follower

The era of cena will never end

    • scott

I can see him sticking around for another solid 7 years which is a tad bit scary but I would really love to see him just put the helping the kids thing on hold and do a heel turn just out of respect for the fans who lost respect for him which really doesn’t make sense. We’ve already seen he can clearly be the best at both as a face and a heel but I think a lot of the backlash he gets for not putting anyone over would go away for a while if the guy turned heel once again. Even if it was for only a year or so

    • Rockfan84

Bloody hell, he’s gonna end up being a 30 time champion

    • Pfc Mark Kevin Apalisok

yes cena should leave and get a part time contract give his spot as the new face of wwe to Roman Reigns! and make action movies!

    • Jacob Rael

Cena isnt a hollywood sellout, so he will never follow in the rocks footsteps, John Cena is WWE for life guaranteed

    • steven harris

John, how can you have anything left to do. You’re 14 time world champion, 3 time US champion, 4 time tag champion, 2 time royal rumble winner, money in the bank winner and you have closed the show at Wrestlemania 5 times now, twice with The Rock.

Whats left for you to do, buy the company??

    • Bryan

What can we do? Cena makes the most money for some bizarre reason as most the audience despise him and as long as he makes the most money he’ll be top face unless he gets a serious injury which I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I like Cena as a human being and I think he’s a very good wrestler when he wants to be but I would like to see some change and more intensity in his character as I’d say even he knows his character is stale but WWE aren’t letting him change his character.

      • Bryan

*even though most the audience despise him.

    • pvnez

I LOVE JOHN CENA .. HE IS A TRUE SUPER HERO .. AND HE WILL NEVER QUIT .. YOUR TIME IS NOW ..LETS GO CENA ..

    • Jamie

God, everything he says is so fake and cookie cutter, the ultimate company man, they book him to be Hogan 2.0, they try everything, charity, pairing him with fan favourites, pandering, he just ends up burying talent, it’s pathetic, we all see him for what he is, a talentless sports entertainer.
