At least the Shield is targeting more than one person. That makes it a little more interesting.

    • Dey_See_Me_Trollin

Yeah The Shield could potentially be great. I’m just hoping creative doesn’t screw it up like they did The Nexus

      • morrisonfanone

        And the Nexus 2.0.

    • Reality

It looks like they’ll be feuding with the big stars. They’ll probably help Ziggler against Cena. All of that may build up to bigger things.

This John Cena AJ thing needs to end -_-

    • Jigsaw

Hey now…whatever keeps him out of the title running.

      • Jeremy-County Roberts

i have a feeling wwe is gonna screw over Dolph and Cena is gonna win on Sunday :| Therefore putting him back in the title run.

        • Donte Shoshona Gopual

I’ve been saying that they’re gonna make john win

        • Craig DeBoard

I hope they do. I don’t want Dolph going for the #2 title in the company. Let Cena have MITB and go dick around with Show and Sheamus. Allow Ziggler to win the Rumble and go for the WWE title.

      • Craig DeBoard

No, eff that. Cena has proven in the past he can be an entertaining title holder if need be (his early feuds with JBL and Edge come to mind). Shitty TV and angles don’t make the show better. Tasking performers to portray specific roles to garner interest does. (In other words Cena just needs the long long long over-due heel turn)

Not until John Cena touts some #snatch tomorrow…

  • mrchopper

I might tout some snatch tomorrow too, John.

This is the lamest angle all year. The reason for Cena backlash is simply overexposure. In the 1990’s, we didn’t actually see Bret, Shawn, Diesel or Yokozuna EVERY single week. Sometimes those guys wouldn’t appear for 3-4 weeks at a time, even while WWF champion, and the PPVs were spread out 3 months apart, which avoided overexposure and character burnout. Cena has a routine set. Bret had a routine set. All their matches are in essence the same run of moves. But if fans are tired of Cena matches, then these ultra low ratings have probably been caused by WWE’s desperate attempt to keep him on TV with any segement at all. The affair story though is ridiculous. The Shield should attack more random guys though, like Mason Ryan or David Otunga.

    • Craig DeBoard

Overexposure isn’t the case. If that were it, then people would have hated Austin, The Rock, and Mankind during the 90s.

  • synkara

With Yoshi, Zeke and Mason Ryan all being underused, I think they would all make great opponents for Sheamus or Ziggler as a way to make “filler” matches, without using the big names in endless repeats and rematches. How many times did Del Rio have matches against Sheamus ? Against Orton ? Too many. I’d like to see a slight return to a “jobber” era so that when two name-brand guys have a match, it has a bigger feel to it.

I hope Dolph don’t lose his mitb. I want him to get the belt. I’m a female and don’t see what the fuss is all about Cena. Randy is so good looking and can wrestle but he is not given the fair chance. I will have to stop watching for awhile if cena beats dolph and I have been watching wrestling since I was three but this is getting crazy. The wwe is putting all their eggs in one basket. Why are they continuing to depend and use cena. They don’t know what other wrestlers can bring because they never give them a fair opportunity. I hope dolph wins. For what I see he appears to be funny and a great guy in real life. I hope they give him his opportunity. Dolph might pass cena and become the new face of wwe.

    • Craig DeBoard

You’re looking at it the wrong way. If Dolph loses that puts Cena going after the world title instead of the WWE title. It frees Dolph up to win the Rumble and go for the WWE title.

Bigger picture and what have you.

      • sparky

well that’s my picture. Anytime cena is in the picture its not good with me.

  • morrisonfanone

In thought they were putting this on the backburner for the moment. I hope it ends permanetly sometime soon.

  • 5er

tout some snatch is that what they are calling it these days?

    • SavageBomber

That’s what I’m calling it from now on. I know this isn’t Twitter and I hate the use of hash tags outside of Twitter, but in my best Dwayne impersonation… “#ToutSomeSnatch now trending worldwide”

  • Rodriquez Antonio

    John Cena + A.j = induced Vomit!
I don’t care for either of these too…..Feed Cena to Ryback so he can injure him! lol
