Main Event Announced For ROH’s Next TV Tapings

Ring of Honor has announced the main event for the company’s next television tapings on August 13th from Chicago Ridge, which will be the first tapings as part of the new ‘Sinclair Broadcasting Group’ era.

Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas) vs. The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) with Shane Hagadorn

    I wonder how ROH is going to pull this off. I mean showing the Kings of Wrestling on ROH TV after they have been signed to a WWE contract. Its not unheard of for talent to finish up their contractual agreements while under WWE contract, case study for that would be Bryan Danielson but I am pretty sure the talent can not appear on a competing show. I guess ROH and WWE will work something out, I mean they are going to have to otherwise the Kings will be edited out of the ROH TV show.

    If they need to do something to make themselves stand out more so than WWE and TNA… build up a proper womens division. Yes I know, women aren’t the best and all that, men over women, but if TNA could make great knockout fueds, matches and ratings from them once upon a time, ROH can do that just as easily. All they need is a roster of more than 4 women, and an actual championship belt instead of using SHIMMERS, even though thats not entirely bad as that gets SHIMMER come exposure.

    ROH Wrestling : Where wrestling will eventually take a backseat to succeed.

    Of course WWE and ROH will work something out, ROH has been in the WWE’s back pocket since AT LEAST 2005 if not sooner.

    Is it just me or is ROH a little light on exciting talent at the moment.

    Don’t get me wrong, Richards, Edwards, Generico and the tag division are all great – but the midcard seems a litle weak.

    ROH doesn’t seem to have fully restocked since the heydays of Danielson, McGuiness, Black, Aries, Joe, KENTA, CM Punk and co….

    ecw is roh = every other promotion will take their talent
    wcw is tna = using wwe old talent
    wwf is wwe = the only winner

    @MizfitZer0….If I read it correct,I think @therealist was trying to say was its a shame ROH loses talented guys to WWE where they end up jobbing to the Cena’s/Ortons.ROH is all about wrestling where WWE is like beating a dead horse week after week.TNA utilize the old wrestlers who had their time and put talented wrestlers on the shelf wasting theirs.Pretty much in the end the all mighty WWE pick up all great talent but have the same lame ass maineventers as I mentioned earlier
