Brooke was involved in a car accident this past weekend. She was driving in the center lane of Bayside Bridge, Florida, when the car in front of her lost control while changing lanes. According to several reports, the other car collided with Brooke's, pushing her into the bridge's left concrete barrier wall.

Witnesses at the scene said the other car was speeding and Florida Highway Patrol reps told US site TMZ that Brooke was not at fault.

Originally it had been reported that Hulk was involved the crash, but he was elsewhere arriving on the scene later on with Linda.

Brooke later posted a blog on her Myspace about the incident crediting brother Nick for reminding her and her friend to put on their seat belts.

"I don't know if you heard, but my friend and I got into a really bad car accident today ourselves . . . As I turned on my car I clicked my seatbelt. As we pulled out onto the road, I looked over and realized my friend didn't have her seatbelt on. I reminded her to put it on and the minute she clicked it, a car crashed into us," Boella wrote in a MySpace post. "It was a horrible car accident, one that most would be severely hurt in, but we had our seatbelts on and they kept us in tight."

The friend, who calls herself "lala" on her Myspace page, posted the following: "..Brooke Hogans my hero, thank you for saving my life! Everyone wear your seat belts."
