More Information On WWE’s Possible Plans For Jeff Hardy’s Return

Back in October former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Jeff Hardy underwent surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff. A timeframe of six months was initially given for his return to the ring, meaning he would likely miss WrestleMania 34. With Matt Hardy now playing the “Woken” character on WWE TV since Jeff’s injury, many have been wondering how WWE will use the former WWE Champion once he returns.

Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live recently speculated that Jeff could possibly return using the “Brother NERO” character. With both Matt and Jeff using characters from their “Woken Universe” it’s hard not to see another run at the RAW Tag Team Titles in their futures. Jeff’s last appearance on WWE TV came on RAW 25 when he appeared in a backstage segment with WWE Superstars of the past.
