    I think the surgery was a minor surgery and he may be able to work the pay per view but they will probably play it safe and change the match to a table match, involve the shield and give the tlc match to ziggler and cena since I think they already have a ladder match for the briefcase

    After holding the WWE Championship for 380 days, the longest reign that we haven’t seen in a long time, it would suck if CM Punk couldn’t compete at the ppv. So many scenarios can happen with this.

      Oh cry me a river. Yet when Cena got hurt after his year long reign, IWC was all in smiles. Punk should be stripped from the title, like Cena was a few years back.

        Most of us like Punk so why wouldn’t we be upset if he got hurt?

        People shouldn’t be happy about anyone getting hurt period. The “hate” that Cena gets is off the chain stupid. The only reason I’d have to hate on the dude is if he started hitting on my woman, or he owed me some serious money. Real life men shit… not that petty sissy boy internet drama.

    That would suck if Punk loses the title that way. At least he’ll be able to say that Ryback never defeated him but still…
    I hope that, even if he doesn’t recover 100%, they figure a way to make him retain (ending the match with him entering the ring via the crowd while Ryback is busy dealing with the Shield, and stealing the belt and going back via the crowd, match ending as a no contest)

    One way or another, Raw’s ratings have been dropping and if Punk keeps holding the title, Raw will still lose fans. The three hour show, much like when WCW went to three hours, does not work outside of pay-per-views and special events.
