More On The Rock’s Busy Early 2013 Schedule & CM Punk vs. Ryback

– The Rock is going to have a very busy early 2013, with several movies to promote as well as many appearances for WWE and promotion his new “Hero” reality show that premieres on TNT in February.

The Rock is currently scheduled to appear at WWE RAW on January 7th, 21st and 28th, as well as the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber PPVs. The January 7th episode of RAW will be going up against the college football BCS Championship game, so WWE will be counting on The Rock’s appearance that to prevent the RAW rating from bottoming out again.

– With Ryback guaranteed a WWE Championship match against CM Punk in the coming weeks, there are conflicting reports as to when the match will take place. Originally, it was thought that CM Punk vs. Ryback would headline the 20th Anniversary of RAW episode of January 14th.

However, that leaves only 2 weeks to end CM Punk’s feud with Ryback and go full force with Punk vs. The Rock. There is now talk of CM Punk vs. Ryback taking place on the January 7th episode of RAW and immediately switching gears that night to Punk’s feud with The Rock.

so wwe has had months to think about how to transition this and now they’re weeks away and they have no idea? wtf were they doing?

    • SJP315

Tlc was supposed to be the blow off, Punk needed surgery therefore plans got thrown off

      • Th3_Ev1l_n1nJa

        thanks mate

Cena wins MITB @ TLC. Lesnar Runs in @ RR. Rock wins EC and gets WWE Title. Lesnar vs Rock 2 @ Mania. Rock retains Cena cashes in to close out show turning him heel and avenging win at Mania against Rock.

    • pwnez

Cena isn’t going to turn heel. If anything he would cash in for a legit match against the Rock at WrestleMania. Most of us want Cena to turn heel but it’s just not going to happen.

      • Deante320

Logically (if that even matters in WWE at this point) Cena can’t because it for the WHC. But I suspect Cena winning the RR, MAYBE turn heel somewhere between RR or WM and face the Rock there.

      • TheTruth

Turning heel won’t make him any talented. The guy is a crappy performer.

        • Craig DeBoard

          You’re a crappy poster.

        • Donte Shoshona Gopual

he was a great a heel a generated excitement from the crowd= GREAT WWE superstar

    • thahitman42

too bad that dolph’s MitB is for the world heavyweight championship, not the WWE championship.

      • vince russo

The WWE is known for changing the rules i could see them saying @ TLC that since Cena is a raw wrestler if he wins it he could use it on the WWE champ

    • Craig DeBoard

Cena can’t cash in for the WWE title. The MITB contract is for the World title.

What would be better would be to let Cena win the MITB contract and have him fued with Big Show, Orton, and Sheamus over the title and allow Ziggler to win the RR so Ziggler can go after the WWE title.

  • Bruzek

The MITB is for the world heavyweight title not the wwe title

  • dae

As long as Ryback gets the strap from Punky, I don’t care when the match takes place!

  • Scott Kinnard

The problem with Cena turning heel is there is nobody to take that top face spot on RAW. Ryback can’t. And the only person who gets the reaction Cena gets is Daniel Bryan. He’s at that point where he’s not really a heel anymore. And with Randy Orton wanting to turn heel. Punk, Ziggler, Big Show, Barrett, Del Rio, Cesaro ect, there are plenty of heels. It’s babyfaces that are lacking.
