RAW Preview: Brock Lesnar, Cena’s Reaction, Three Stooges

RAW Preview

Tonight’s WWE RAW Supershow takes place from the Verizon Center in Washington, DC.

After his surprise appearance at the end of last week’s RAW, returning superstar Brock Lesnar will be on RAW tonight to discuss why he’s back. John Cena will also address Brock Lesnar’s return – and the devastating F5 that Lesnar delivered to him last week. Cena will also show off his new “Dream Machine” custom car, which is being done to promote the new Dream Machines show on SyFy that premiers after tomorrow night’s live SmackDown special.

WWE diva Eve Torres tweeted over the weekend that she’s ready to make some “serious career moves” – which in her case, probably means making out with any top superstar she can find.

SmackDown stars advertised for RAW include World Heavyweight champion Sheamus, Randy Orton, Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan (YES!), Cody Rhodes, Intercontinental champion the Big Show, Alberto Del Rio and Christian.

Hardcore legend Mick Foley has been advertised for RAW as well.

Tonight’s RAW will also feature an appearance by the stars of the new Three Stooges movie.

The advertised dark match main event will see WWE Champion CM Punk and John Cena teaming up against Kane and Chris Jericho.

Brock explains why he’s back. John cena addresses brock’s attack. And…………the three stooges.

    • cenasucks

      Just……Stop Complaining

      • ALDO the APACHE

        Don’t……. have to.

        • cenasucks

Skip three stooges……watch the brock promo

          • ALDO the APACHE

I understand where your coming from. I’m just showing my displeasure for the wwe needing to bring in celebrities for movie plugs. Sorry if you took it for more than that.

          • cenasucks

Nah..i was just playing about. Totally agree with you with the movie plug ins. But otherwise, with lesnar back, you can’t really go wrong with a good show…Unless you’re wwe

          • ALDO the APACHE

Yup. The lesnar segment might be great but the rest of the show could blow chunks.

          • cenasucks

Yeah and this is just my opinion but I think the Punk/Jericho storyline is great and i’m looking forward to that

          • Kaylyn Owens

It is really good. I haven’t seen someone who uses as much alcohol as Jericho does, since Steve Austin.

  • http://twitter.com/TeamAwesome418 Team Awesome

If Foley is being advertised tonight Then hopefully this means Dean Ambrose comes on to the main roster too, their hotel confrontation last weekend was intense. Can’t wait to see where this goes form here.

    • ALDO the APACHE

Aw dude don’t get me excited about ambrose! Now I’m gonna be expecting it cuz you do make a good point.

  • pwnez

Brock Lesnar is definitely one reason i’ll be watching raw. I couldn’t care less about the stooges appearing though. I’m curious to see how the crowd will be tonight. Something tells me they won’t be as vocal as the Miami crowd.

    • budgie

I’m of the opinion that the Miami was so ‘hot’ because it was still full of the many nationalities that came for WM. The mix was very good and brought about a different type of atmosphere that WWE hasn’t really seen for a long time. I don’t think we’ll see the same type of crowd for a while, but that’s just me.

    • cenasucks

Same here. I know this has become a cliche but now is the best time to turn him into a heel. He could come out complaining about how he’s been minding his own business but every returning superstar like the rock, kane and lesnar are going for him. He says that the only support he has is from the crowd and even that isn’t 100%. He turns on the fans and says that he will pick up his feud with lesnar from where it left off. Dr. Thuganomics style. Word Life

      • Hafizsalik

        a person can dream

    • Patriclese

Tonight will be the night we see if that Miami crowd set the trend for arenas all over. I doubt arenas will be that energetic but we will see if that “YES!” chant lives on.

    • Jmc60

I dont think we will probaly see as vocal as a crowd like that in a looooooooooong while

      • Kaylyn Owens

If we ever see it again.

  • http://twitter.com/AJCampbellNYG Andrew Campbell

“John Cena will also address Brock Lesnar’s return…”

I bet any money that Cena comes out smiling as always. Cena should come out pissed off at the fact that he got F-5’d last week and give us a break from the same ‘Rise Above Hate’ BS we see every week.

    • ALDO the APACHE

I agree. Its starting to get irritating that he dosent show any other emotion. Yeah I’m pretty sure we’re gonna get jokes and smiles from him.

    • pwnez

Cena didn’t come out smiling last week…

      • BrahmaBullRKO

He smiled when Lesnar came out.

        • pwnez

I would have done the same thing. The crowd was going insane and they kept chanting Lesnar’s name. Cena looked around, heard Lesnar’s music and like I said i’d smile too at that moment lol. He didn’t smile walking down to the ring though.

          • Bushwald Sexyface

He was standing there smirking. He should have sold concern and worry to make people doubt his assuredness about the situation. A little bit of selling in a big moment like that goes a long way.

          • SpokenRandom

You sir, hit the nail right on the head.

          • Kaylyn Owens

It’s Cena. He was smiling about taking a drug test.

          • Kaylyn Owens

After he was trying to act like he had no clue Lesnar was back.

    • partsunknownresident

I wonder if he’ll take the same approach he took when Kane came back and attacked him, and say something along the lines of “if last week was an accident on Lesnar’s part, I’m willing to let bygones be bygones.”

If he does that, I hope Lesnar F5’s him on the cement floor!

      • John3:16

Lmfaoo the last part made me laugh , but true …everyone is tired of the anti-bully Cena and now this is a huge chance for him to turn. it’s about fucking time like seriously, every superstar turns heel in their career atleast more than one . for ex. Hogan

    • http://www.facebook.com/craig.deboard Craig DeBoard

Cena won’t turn heel because Cena genuinely believes he’s not a face or a heel, just himself. Cena won’t turn heel because he believes “being himself” is what all of the wrestlers should do.

Personally I’d like to see him go heel too. It’s exactly what the business needs right now (as opposed to what all of the wrestlers say). Cena is good on the mic and while he isn’t the greatest technical wrestler he can tell a good story in the ring and his “ruthless aggression” could really shine as a corporate heel.

Honestly they missed the mark. They should have had Laurinaitis come out at Mania and help Cena win, turning Cena heel then. And doing it in Miami could have had that effect on the crowd that was there when Hogan went heel. It could have been an easy set up for a very much hated Cena and a rematch at Wrestlemania 29. WWE dropped the ball here.

      • Kaylyn Owens

I would’ve loved to see the looks on little kids faces if Cena turned heel.

    • aj2345

Even with blood in his mouth, this idiot was still smiling. Good call. It’s predictions like these and your wrestling knowledge that makes me look forward to your comments on stories on this site

      • Kaylyn Owens

I know, right. Only Cena would be smiling about getting punched in the mouth. I loved that almost the whole locker room, including Goldust, was out there trying to separate them. I really loved it when Daniel Bryan was pulling Brock out of the ring by his legs. And Sheamus wearing jeans, loved that too. Don’t ask me why, but I did.

  • cenasucks

  • Reality

I hope it’s not gonna be Lesnar vs Cena for WM29…

    • Kaylyn Owens

Probably not. I’m calling Cena/Rock rematch. If that happens, Cena will win.

  • Qwertyboy619

Mr Laurinitis will be looking forward to Eve’s career moves…

  • Kvhverge

thought del rio was raw superstar

    • http://www.facebook.com/craig.deboard Craig DeBoard

Technically Triple H is still a Smackdown superstar. He never got drafted back to Raw a few years ago. Same with Taker. Same with Mark Henry. Same with Sheamus. Yet they’re always on Raw. But WWE pretends the past never happened all the time.

  • Www Jhurley95

i hate how wwe is acting lik the hhh and taker match never happened. they need to be on raw to wrap up what happened

    • Bushwald Sexyface

No, they don’t. They need to stay away a while and sell how brutal it was.

      • http://www.facebook.com/craig.deboard Craig DeBoard

Agreed. The ending they did at Mania was perfect. Leave it alone and if something interesting can be done for next years Mania for those guys, then so be it, and if not then leave it alone at 20-0.

  • Patriclese

It’s going to be interesting the direction they take Brock and Cena. I remember Cena getting thrashed by Brock back in the day. Cena is a completely different star now which is portrayed as a powerhouse so the clash between the two is something i’m looking forward to but man did Cena have a bad last week lol

  • Tiran66

Sooooo Del Rio is back on Smackdown now?  When did that happen?

  • Chalkeevthunder

excited for Eve to improve in the ring. Til then, keep her out of it.

  • Sweething31roberto86

This is to the John cena haters just shut up if u don’t like him just shut the fuck up n’t like him than why u talking about him smileing and by the way his smile is sexy as hell and he is going to beat Brock prenatal ass go cena if u don’t like him stop talking shit dumb bitches if u gonna talk shot say it to his face not behind his back and he is gonna to whoop Brock lesnars ass just like he did in 04/and05 dumb hitched just stop complaining dense than best #riseabovehate. # nevergiveup…….# cenation. Hatred always gonna hate……..

  • Kaylyn Owens

Oh my gosh. Will Sasso sounded exactly like Hulk Hogan. I was laughing so hard. I was freaking out at first, thinking Hulk was back in the WWE. Then I saw that. It could easily be one of the funniest things I’ve seen on WWE t.v in a  long time.
