Report: Hulk Hogan Says He Will Be At WrestleMania

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan says he will be at WrestleMania XXX on April 6th and will be “working” at the event, according to a report at

Hogan attended this week’s Affiliate Summit West marketing conference from Las Vegas, Nevada to promote his Hostamania web hosting service.  The news comes from a fan who attended the summit and spoke to Hogan personally, so take that for what you will.

I saw this coming. I think it was pretty much obvious that once Hogan was legitimately done with TNA he was going to play some part in Wrestlemania 30, and I have to admit although I’m not a big Hogan fan it will be great to have him at WM just for the nostalgia factor.

    • Forceton Banfodder

Like I said. This Wrestlemania is going to be more like a fans wet dream than just your average Wrestlemania.

      • Mr 561

Agreed. I was discussing this with a friend, who was saying asking “What’s the big deal? How is 30 different than 28 or 29?” Uhh because it’s an anniversary show – this is a year the argument that “bringing back legends because it takes spotlight away from today’s talent” doesn’t hold a ton of weight

        • Forceton Banfodder

Absolutely. And the chance that Hogan, Piper, Flair, or even (possibly maybe) Sting will all be around for Wrestlemania 40 is unlikely.

          • Matt Gallagher

Flair could be dead by then sadly

          • Forceton Banfodder

Heck, even Piper’s had cancer once and Hogan could be fool enough to try and leg drop somebody and kill himself.

It even bothers me that I’ll be pushing close to 50 by then, which will either mean I’m halfway through a good life or almost finished with a not so good life. And I ain’t been so good.

          • Matt Gallagher

By wrestlemania 40 I hope to be on the card

          • True Patriot

Go for it man. Live your dream.

          • kongg

            Love it….. :-)

          • Steve Williams

Hogan(60), Flair(64), Sting(54) why do you think they won’t be around for WM 40? I see lots of people doing fine in their 80s

          • Forceton Banfodder

Because lots of people are not wrestlers. Most wrestlers aren’t lucky enough to live into their 90s like Mae Young. Piper has had cancer and will probably get again. Flair is still drinking like he was 21 and I don’t know if you remember but there was this whole little doping thing going on in the 80’s that most wrestlers were in on, especially Hogan. Steroids can do severe damage to the kidneys, liver and heart.

Besides I said, not ALL of them will be there in 10 years. Yeah, one or two might live for 10 more years… but if I was a betting man, I wouldn’t give the Naitch good odds of being alive in 10 more years considering he looks like bloated whale sh*t right now.

Also consider that in 10 years, Sting might not even remember his own name much less where he even is.

So is there a chance they will be there in 10 years, sure. But is that a chance you want to pass on, right now, when you know they’re alive and in relatively good shape?

          • Marvin B.

            So sad, yet so true…

          • johncena_penis

Mae young >>> hogan that’s one tough s.o.b. rip young.

      • WrestilingFan4Life

True, We all know that WWE are going to try and go big with this anniversary thing, and why wouldn’t they? Lets just hope this doesn’t flop.

    • brad

Yep same here he is not my fav. But I still respect him for what he has done for the biz. So it will be great to see him at possibly the biggest mania in history.

  • Mr 561

It seems like a lock that Hogan will be back for WrestleMania – the real story will be when and how he returns. Again – this news comes from 1 guy who was sending in his own first-hand report, so it’s not a rock solid story yet

    • Mr 561

      Ah yes, that old chestnut

    • Diablo130356

Warrior being inducted by Paul Heyman, with Rick Flair as a chaperone, perfect the speeches would go on till the next morning lol.

  • ^S^WhySoSerious^S^?????

No one cares about Hogan. Bring back Torrie Wilson for a Bra and Panties match with AJ! :D

    • True Patriot

      Yes sir….We Want PUPPIES!

    • Joe

The I’ve never wanted a match more so than that…I’d die happy

  • Richmond

I just hope he doesn’t team up with Cena.

    • Arn Anderson

Let him team with cena, keep cena out of other feuds.

  • Buzzard Follower

its for the nostalgia. i look forward to hear the pop when hogan returns

  • matthew

    welcome back hulk Hogan

  • LaParkaXV

Don’t care to see Hogan back but he Main Evented the first 9 WM so it will be good for WM 30. Please no match!

    • Foster E. Baxter Jr.

He will probably be at the HOF to induct the Ultimate Warrior.

      • True Patriot

He’s the only man suitable to induct Warrior.

        • Foster E. Baxter Jr.

He might be the only one willing too. Sting would be interesting if he could. As you may know, Warrior and Sting were the Blade Runners in the old UWF.

          • True Patriot

Good point. I saw a youtube video of them back in an old southern promotion cutting a promo. It all looked so cheap and early “80’s” but even then you could tell those two guys (sting/warrior) had the “IT” factor.

    • yrabadi

I hope he comes in and just wows everyone. Does a run-in on the championship match, nails a moonsault on the babyface, counts his own pinfall, runs over to the timekeepers area, rings the bell, grabs the belt, runs out of the building, gets into his limo and drives away.

      End scene.

      • Zell Drake

        yes man yes

  • Josh Knepshield

This is so stupid. Bringing back a washed up wrestler like Hogan who can barely walk up a flight of steps just so they can make a quick buck. A live promo just like at wrestlemania 21 would have worked, but now they’re going to waste a WrestleMania for Cena who should be fighting a legitimate wrestler instead of teaming up with this old timer to fight the Real Americans???? I know I don’t know if this will actually happen just going by the rumors that I’ve heard. I had big hopes for this WrestleMania, and if Hogan wrestles at the event in any capacity with a big star, I might just not even bother this year. WrestleMania could have been great this year.
    DX v. Punk & Bryan
    John Cena v. Undertaker
    Brock Lesnar v. Batista
Randy Orton (c) vs. Roman Reigns
    Shield v. Wyatts

    • Paul Kersey

Roman Reigns getting a WWE title shot? Can I have a shot of what you’re drinking?

      • Josh Knepshield

Say that after Sunday when he wins the Royal Rumble idiot. Lol Its pretty obvious. They are pushing him through the moon, and every time Vince sees him he gets an erection.

    • Forceton Banfodder

You do realize that this Wrestlemania reprents 30 years of a tradition to many of us, right?

It’s only fitting that the top guy of 1983 who was in the main event of the very first Wrestlemania be at the 30th Anniversary. He has to be there to legitimatize the importance of the event.

I mean seriously, this PPV out of all the PPVs will showcase all the wwe/f talent for the last 30 years. I wouldn’t be remotely surprised if One Man Gang, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash or even Mabel appeared out of the blue for this PPV. (you can literally change those names for any past superstar who was in a WM)

This Wrestlemania isn’t about titles, or feuds… Its about celebrating 30 years of Wrestlemania. I mean, seriously, I was 7 when the first Wrestlemania happened. This is a bigger F’n deal than the titles and streak combined. This is 3 decades of mainstream professional wrestling that YOU take for granted.

But don’t bunch your panties up, Hogan probably can’t even pass the physical to wrestle for WWE again.

      • Josh Knepshield

I agree with everything you say, which is why I said a promo like he did at WrestleMania 21 would suffice. Vince loves making money, and what better way than to put a 70 year old guy in the ring just to bring in an extra couple of ppv buys from people over 50. Everyone seems so happy now, but after WrestleMania, the “internet wrestling community” will be like “he sucked, why was he in the ring anyway?”

        • Forceton Banfodder

Haters are always going to hate. In the end, WWE will profit from it and the show will go on as usual and people will go back to hating on Cena and Orton and whoever else.

          • Josh Knepshield

Alright, in all honesty, I could care less if he wrestles. JUST DON’T TEAM HIM WITH CENA.

  • Tyler H

I have no problem if Hogan wrestled. As long as it’s a 6-7 minute match. Let’s face it, a Hogan match is notorious for Hogan getting beaten down most of the match then having his comeback.

    • Forceton Banfodder

      But that’s Cena’s schtick now.

      • Bryan

I think your underrating Cena as look at his matches with Punk and Bryan and tell me he doesn’t just get beat up and then hulk up and there was a lot of back and forth in those matches. Cena can do that when WWE want him to but unlike Hogan Cena can actually be a good wrestler when he is given the right opponent and WWE let him wrestle.

        • Forceton Banfodder

How did that underrate Cena? That IS his Schtick 9 times out of 10. I’m not one of these guys who says Cena can’t wrestle. He can wrestle, and I see his moveset expanding every time he’s out there.

But let’s be honest, when he wins he pulls the ‘Superman’ comeback from the brink of losing to win it schtick. And when he loses it looks like a total no sell. Even after the Lesnar match at Extreme rules, he just popped right back up after Lesnar left and started talking to the crowd like none of that happened.

        • Zell Drake

          hogan can kick cena’s ass

    • Zell Drake

      so is the undertakers

  • Pozessed

Boooo, we don’t want to see your old ass on TV.

    • Marvin B.

Ok ill make sure he reads this
