Ring of Honor has signed a tremendous "Best of 3" series of matches between Austin Aries and Bryan Danielson. The winner of the series will get an ROH World Title shot.

The two former ROH Champions will fight on October 5, October 21st and November 2nd (if necessary). The winner of the series will be crowned #1 Contender and will face ROH World Champion Takeshi Morishima at ROH's Manhattan Center show on November 3rd.

The road to becoming the first ever 2-time ROH World Champion starts on October 5th for Austin Aries & the American Dragon.

When asked about the "Best of 3" series with Danielson, Aries said: "Bryan and I have had some battles in the past. We are both better wrestlers since the last time we fought. I know I have to be at the top of my game and I'm sure Bryan feels that he has to be at the top of his. This is why I got into wrestling. This is the kind of competition I want."
