WWE Royal Rumble 2013 Surprise Entrants Revealed

This Sunday’s Royal Rumble will see the returns of at least two former WWE superstars.

SEScoops.com can confirm that Shelton Benjamin and Carlito are scheduled for the 30-man Royal Rumble match.

Both men are in Phoenix this weekend to work independent shows on Saturday night and will in fact be at Sunday’s show.

We’re hearing word about a few other big surprises planned for the Rumble but are going to follow up and double-source these rumors before reporting them here.

        i’m hedging my bets on the Royal Rumble Match itself, not the title matches. they’ve already been seen before. the outcomes of those are obvious.
        i just hope i can look back on tonight and not think it was wasted watching a WWE Pay-Per View. lol

      It likely won’t be the wrestlers who will decide if they stay or not. It’ll be WWE who will decide if they want them back or not.

    With WWE’s target audience being so young i’ll be surprised if most viewers even know who either of these guys is. After all they have been gone for a few years now. Personally i think it’s going to be great to see them again… especially Carlito….always got a kick out of the guy. I don’t expect either one of them to return full time though. They just happen to be in town for an independent date.

    Not exactly the biggest names, but they are good names regardless. Hopefully both stick around so Shelton can do bigger things in the mid-carder level, and the same for Carlito, while maybe forming a proper stable with his family, Primo & Epico. With Rosa of course, she always makes things better to look at. ;-)

    As for surprise entrants, isn’t Ken Shamrock suppose to participate? I read an article that Ken Shamrock was going to participate a couple months ago. I also read an article that The Undertaker might be one of the participants, same with Brock Lesnar and Triple H.

    Either way, these are just rumors and they are not actually official at this point.

    If Morrison came back, they need to not job him to people who may have a better win advantage OVER HIM, and actually GIVE Morrison a real, legitimate chance in the company – as he should have had in the first place. MIGHT get to watch the rumble, but it’s not set in stone YET !!!! LOL !! IF I CAN’T, I hope all competitors have a good time.

    I don’t really look up on spoilers because I think it’s robbing yourself from the surprise, but I was curious about this year’s Rumble surprise and looked at it anyway. After finding out it was Carlito and Shelton Benjamin I didn’t feel cheated or robbed of the surprise… mainly because I don’t give a shit about either one of them.
