Ryback Heel Turn & John Cena Feud Discussed, Punk-Cena News

- Vince McMahon said to be tired of the John Cena vs. CM Punk feud, so their match next week on RAW will be the last time we see them cross paths for a while.

- The Rock has been nominated for “Favorite Male Buttkicker” at the 2013 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, which airs on March 28th.

WWE superstar & executive Triple H has been nominated for “Most Metal Athlete” at the 2013 Revolver Golden Gods Awards, which takes place on May 2nd and will be hosted by Chris Jericho.

- A Ryback heel turn has been teased lately, with him losing several high profile matches and walking out on his team at Elimination Chamber. If WWE does go through with the heel turn, it would lead to a John Cena vs. Ryback program after WrestleMania. While Cena could certainly benefit from a fresh heel monster to play off of, Ryback is somewhat limited in the ring and losing the crowd support would hurt his character a lot.

    it makes no sense to turn Ryback heel over Cena, Ryback gets the “feed me more” chants way more than Cena gets cheered, the kids are the only ones who don’t want to see Cena turn heel, but now Ryback has a much better reason to turn heel because he is the one getting pinned, Cena will probably retire a face, the same character he is now.

    I don’t want WWE to turn Ryback into Cena’s “monster of the month”. I’m fed up of seeing Cena feud with and overcome a never ending line of monster heels, much like most of his feuds between 2007-2008.

    Ryback has potential to be a big star for WWE someday and Cena barely gets a reaction these days (not even from the kids), so why not turn Cena heel instead??

        Lol Ryback definitely isn’t a great wrestler, you’re right, but I think he’s improved alot lately. His match with The Shield at TLC was evidence of that.

        As for his mic skills, his delivery is decent, he just needs better material.

        Hate to agree but, yeah, he’s definitely not a face right now. The only thing that could save him is (much like Goldburg) is to lead a group of faces to decimate the three guys who don’t know the definition of injustice. Otherwise, he needs to be a heel monster like Kane used to be.

    I don’t want to see a Cena vs. Ryback feud because Cena will be WWE Champion when it happens and Ryback needs to work on either his character or his wrestling before he gets another high-profile title shot again.

    I disagree with the Ryback heel turn… they’ll lose money on that one. I think Ryback is much more profitable as a face right now. The crowd loves why throw that away…
    They made this same mistake with Bryan. He had the crowd in the palm of his hand and they turned him into a goofy face and stuck him a tag team that cooled his jets eventually.

    If they portray Ryback as a man on a mission to clean out everything holding him back, starting with the guys who cost him matches (Sheamus, Cena, etc), looking to clean the playing field in WWE, the fans will eat it up and keep right on chanting FEED ME MORE. Make him a force to be feared, not a joke character, and the fans will love it whether he’s “heel” or “face”.

    Everyone would love to see Cena turn heel, it’s NEVER and I mean NEVER going to happen. His gimmick is stale, and it’s because Vince and Triple H keep him that way. Modern Day Hulk Hogan. Cena does way too much with Make A Wish he’s the poster good guy for the WWE. I don’t know how him having 10 WWE title reigns makes him an underdog all the time???

    Ryback shouldn’t be heel or face. Just beat the fuck out of everyone and not give a fuck. His “Feed Me More” gimmick is just lame.

    WWE has not developed any good superstars.

    Orton is stale as hell. He won’t be decent again until he’s heel.

    Cody Rhodes could be a top heel or face, they just keep giving him bogus gimmicks.

    Dolph Ziggler is the best the company has in my opinion. He can make any wrestler look good. Him with AJ and Big E is just hurting his character in my opinion. He should be the modern day Nature Boy. Ric Flair passing on the figure 4 to the Miz is just retarded. The Miz sucks.

    Sheamus sucks.

    Big Show Heel is GREAT.

    After mania I’d love to see Team Hello No split up. Although It’s been entertaining, Kane needs to be what Mark Henry is. It’s sad it took this long for Mark Henry to be used correctly.

    Daniel Bryan should just shave his beard trim his hair, and be one of the top faces in the company.. It would work !!! Have him feud with CM Punk.

    Punk as a heel is golden, he should continue to be WWE champ. If they do make it a triple threat at Mania, I think Punk should win !! The Rock being back is awesome. Who doesn’t love the Rock ?!?!?! He doesn’t need the belt to be relevant.

    Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk would be the best feud for the WWE title.

    Cody Rhodes vs Dolph Ziggler would be the best fued for the World Title

    I swear their writing and creative is so stale !! They need to hire new people with better long term perspective.

    How will you ever develop the next big thing if you keep bringing back The Rock to headline WM, and Lesnar to headline Summer Slam??

      If he’s the “new Hogan”, then he needs to do a heel turn. The Hollywood Hogan gimmick was the biggest heel turn of the 1990′s. It upped WcW’s game, gave WWF real competition, and helped give birth to the nWo. A heel turn by Cena, and then maybe giving him a supergroup of heels to run, would freshen up his character, maybe bring back some lost fans, grab a few new ones, and make Vince a ton of money.
      God knows, the whole “I hate you fans cuz you turned on me” schtick would work here, because it would be believable. Let him stew as a heel for a few years, then bring him back as a face before he retires.

    No, the last thing we need is another heel to put Cena over with the older fans. Besides, Ryback is one of the few cool faces WWE has left. It would be a shame to fuck that up. And we all know who would win that feud. Bring Thuganomics back, and maybe it would work.

    Cena’s heel turn would cost the company money in merchandise sales and THAT is what drives WWE. Little kids aren’t going to buy nor their parents if Cena is a “heel”.
    Cena turning heel isn’t going to “win” any new fans, especially the ones that say “Cena sucks”.
    People just want the “good guy” to change so they can acknowledge that there is a little bit of bad in all of us (which there is of course). :)
