*Spoiler* First Entrant Announced For The Royal Rumble Match

During the conclusion of Saturday night’s WWE RAW tapings from Washington, D.C. (airing Monday night, New Year’s Eve), John Cena announced that he is officially the first entrant in next month’s 30-man Royal Rumble battle royal match.

Cena announced his entry during the show-closing New Year’s toast segment with AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler. Cena promised the WWE Universe that he will win the WWE Championship again in 2013.

The 2013 Royal Rumble takes place on Sunday, January 27th from the US Airways Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.

        Agreed. I wouldn’t mind if The Rock was champ if he actually went to all of the house shows, raws, smackdowns etc. But if he is always going to be via satellite etc then we should take the WWE title, lube it up reeeeaallll good, then stick it straight up his candy ass!

      I hope not too. There’s only been 2 guys who have won the Rumble entering first. Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit. They are 2 of the all time greats and deserved such a record, Cena doesn’t.

    *sigh* Super Cena will be forced down our throat once again. Like Punk said, he’s been a loser this year, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he actually wins the Rumble..

    AWW DAMN! I knew Vince would try this stunt. Since Cena’s character still relies on a “Never Give Up” persona, somehow, Cena’s either gonna survive until the end and win, or he’s gonna survive till the end and get put out by someone to start a new feud. Now don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see Cena survive until the end and for #30 you hear *GONG* then have Taker eliminate him to set up a Streak match with Cena at WM29, but face it. It might seem too predictable, but i have a feeling Cena’s gonna win and challenge Rock at Wrestlemania so he can keep to his promise and win the title (Which Rock should have after beating Punk) thus ending rocks title reign and letting him take some time off, so Vince can think of what to bring Rock in for next time. Either way, Cena better lose.

      You better get used to Cena winning in 2013. 2012 he jobbed to all the wrestlers who has done absolutely nothing to for WWE ratings wise. Just look at Cena winning the title and actually pulling in better ratings than the year long champion CM Punk did for 2012. And we’re going to all sort of excuses from the likes of you. Fact is the CM Punk experiment failed, it bombed and there is no excuse you can pull out your ass to prove other wise. Quite frankly the only people still crazy about Punk is the IWC and whenever he’s on television, the ratings prove that.

    Oh okay, thats cool I guess people can add them to the main event matches of a PPV.. or at least Cena can. First at the WWE championship MITB match and now RR.

    McIntyre or Rhodes deserves this win. Have McIntyre go back to his Chosen One gimmick and have Rhodes ditch Sandow!
