WWE today announced the first 8 competitors for the upcoming United Kingdom Championship tournament will which establish a Number 1 contender for Pete Dunne’s WWE UK Title. Several of the names announced for the tournament will be making their official WWE live event debuts for the company in this massive tournament, including former ICW, PROGRESS and Revolution Pro Wrestling Champions.
The 8 men announced were as follows:
- Joe Coffey
- Joseph Connors
- Jack Gallagher
- Zack Gibson
- Amir Jordan

Fans of the UK scene may have noticed that several of the stars included in the tournament were previously involved in the World of Sport reboot, notably Dave Mastiff who worked in the main event of the original New Years Eve special.
