The Rock Congratulates Bruno, New Clip From Steve Austin’s “The Package”

– WWE champion The Rock tweeted the following message on Thursday regarding Bruno Sammartino’s 2013 WWE Hall of Fame induction:

– Check out the following clip from Steve Austin’s new action movie, “The Package,” which will be out on DVD & Blu-Ray on February 19th.

Directed by Jesse V. Johnson and written by Derek Kolstad, THE PACKAGE features Austin as Tommy Wick, a nightclub bouncer and enforcer for Seattle crime boss Big Doug (Eric Keenleyside, Dreamcatcher, Firewall). When Big Doug instructs Tommy to hand-deliver a secret package to the mysterious international crime lord “The German,” (Lundgren), he does so with the hopes that Big Doug will forgive the debt Tommy’s brother Eddie (Lochlyn Munroe, White Chicks, Freddy vs. Jason) owes.

Word of the clandestine delivery spreads and soon “the package” — and those who carry it — becomes the target of rival gang leader Anthony (Michael Daingerfield, The Messengers). Anthony will stop at nothing to ensure its capture. Facing incredible odds, Tommy races against the ticking clock — and a small army of hit men, mercenaries, assassins and sadists — to complete delivery. But does The German have other ideas about what to do with the package?

So anyway, I haven’t been watching WWE programming for about a year now. So I don’t know if the programming has improved any since I last saw it. Heard that the Rock is now champion and I have been hearing good things about the Shield. So is it worth tuning in to?

Yes and John Cena won the Royal Rumble :D

    • BEASTziggler

Yes. But if you hate John Cena, no.

Honestly? No. You’re better off checking out the highlights on YouTube or whatever, then getting back into it gradually. Definitely watch the Shield match from TLC – it’s one of the best matches of its type I’ve probably ever seen. Also, if you never watched Brock’s comeback last year I’d heartily recommend checking out some of those matches.

I just finished watching Stone Cold’s movie. It wasn’t as bad as his previous direct to dvd movies. It was actually pretty good. A good rent, or in my case…(Well NVM)

They are extremely passed awful. Rock movies are better. Even his disney films.

      • Ayatollah of rock N rolla

Well of course Rock’s movies are going to be better, he has better roles. Dont forget, Stone Cold was in the Expendables and the Longest Yard.
