Jeff Hardy Re-Signs With TNA For 2 Years (Details)

On Thursday night’s Bellator MMA show on Spike TV, TNA President Dixie Carter announced that she had just signed to a new long-term deal that would keep Hardy with the company for a “very long time.”

The TNA website has provided additional information regarding Jeff Hardy’s new TNA deal, revealing that he has signed a 2-year contract extension which will keep him with the company through 2015.

Hardy’s TNA contract was set to expire later this month, prompting speculation that he could be returning to WWE for one more run. Jeff Hardy was added to the alumni section of on Thursday, which amplified the speculation.

LOL…I thad guessed he had signed like a 5 Year contract when she said “Very long.” She could had just said “Long contract.” Well, interesting to see what he will do for the company once they start touring live. I remember at BFG (10-10-10) the anitcipation for Hardy was huge. Before the show started people were chanting for him. Then at the house shows (I’ve been) people just love the guy still. I like hiim, I don’t think “OMG Jeff Hardy!” but when I’ve been IN the same building as him, THEN I kinda think “This guy is awesome…you just anticipate his entrance.”

I think i’ll just stop watching wrestling all together. It’s so bad…i missed 2 weeks of raw and didn’t attempt to look up a replay.

They still got you reeled in to what’s going on, you’re still under their thumb as much as you wanna be a rebel who only reads about it but refuses to watch it. Quit deluding yourself. Also, check my thumbs. Scrub.

so 2more years of a characterless jeff hardy as champion.
i was a huge jeff fan back in his heyday but anymore… he has no character. he paints his face and closes his eyes. what part of that makes you want to get behind him???
but that seems to be tna’s style. ride on name value for as long as you can

Signing a 2 year deal is very stupid I would have went to the WWE as long as they were still interested but oh well.

You’re thinking like a fanboy. Not like someone who had contracts and perks layed in front of his face. What do you think Jeff would rather do, spend more time with his wife and child, or entertain Randy Crawford every week on Raw, SD, main event, sSaturday morning slam, and weekly house shows? Dolt.

Don’t give up hope man! This is probably all a work. I just know that Jeff Hardy is coming back to WWE.

    February 8, 2013 at 2:02 pm

Wouldn’t be very excited if was coming to wwe after all. Jeff is cool but i feel hes a little overrated as a singles competitor. It just sucks they had to pull the title off Austin Aries (a much better performer) to keep hardy happy.

Wonder what perks his contract featured? I wonder if we’ll see the return of Matt Hardy on TNA.

    February 8, 2013 at 3:25 pm

I thought the headline said “Jeff Hardy resigns with TNA”… it almost gave me hope. :(

      He did.

        February 9, 2013 at 5:52 pm

Resign as to give notice. Quitting.

    February 8, 2013 at 5:20 pm

my theory is that part of his contract is that wwe is aloud to use him on the alumni section of the page

Yeah mess up everyone’s hope that he would return to wwe for a last run. Matt already lied.

      February 8, 2013 at 11:52 pm

Sure looks a lot like matt hardy to me. And reby maybe? Return of evil may be a bit of overkill for him though. Cool promos though.

I think the girl could be Paige

    February 9, 2013 at 10:34 am

I wonder how much this will effect like AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, Aries and other stars who have stuck around. There’s no more excuses. When asked why they stay with TNA they go cause of the travel load etc. well sense TNA is going on the road permantley why not just go to WWE. It’s because they’re scared that they won’t be successful in WWE.

Look we are basically in 2014 one more year left

    February 10, 2013 at 3:09 am

If his current deal expired later this month, a 2-year contract extension would not run THROUGH 2015….

    February 10, 2013 at 3:16 am

    Bad decision from TNA
