TNA Impact Does Best Rating Since August, Genesis Before The Bell (Video), TNA Sponsorship Deal Ends?

impact

- Thursday’s live episode of TNA Impact Wrestling on Spike TV did a strong 1.14 rating with 1.62 million viewers. Maybe it was the return of Sting or the fact that it was the first live Impact in several weeks, but this was the best viewership for the show since August 23rd, when the show had 1.72 million viewers.

– It appears that TNA’s sponsorship deal with Direct Auto Insurance has ended, because all Direct Auto banners have been removed from the Impact Zone and there are no more references to Direct Auto on the TNA website. Especially with the timing of the situation (right after New Years), it’s possible the deal ended on December 31st.

Thank’s SEScoops I really needed to read that 3 times to really understand it

Good job TNA ! The best product out right now. Fuck you Kquickstillsucks !! I already know you’re gonna down this comment because you suck all things WWE dick , your favorite part of RAW is probably team hell no (which is stale) and you talk all that shit about Aces and Eights yet like the shield. Go suck Vince’s taint bitch.

    • http://twitter.com/nickdoubleD Nicolai

Dude, that’s still a TERRIBLE rating for any sydnicated show really. USA original TRASH draws not much less than that. And reruns of Roseanne do only a couple hundred thousand less. That’s SORRY.

      • fireworks Ts

Dude compared to what other shows do on Spike… TNA is gold over there , I get what you’re saying but TNA is a lot better WWE , I’ll take a bro-off over Hornswoggle any day , Big Show is the fucking champ for christ-sakes( he’s terrible ) I get sick of people hating on TNA and claiming ” not watching ” but commenting. I just perfer TNA over the E right now.

        • http://twitter.com/nickdoubleD Nicolai

I agree wwe is AWFUL right now, but TNA keeps losing respect from me when the waste all that great talent. The roster there has been stacked for quite some time, but yet they feel the need to keep hiring losers like Jesse from old reality tv! It’s a big shit on the great talent they have that take a backseat to dumb shits like reality losers, hogan, and even Brooke!? Why are these people even on the show with all those great young wrestlers sitting around!?

    • kquickstillsucks

Hahaha you are seriously touting this pathetic….whatever it is. Just shows me how pathetic you and TNA are. While TNA is recycling WWE’s stars of yesteryear and in some cases not even stars WWE is creating/introducing NEW stars….The Shield. The “fans” in the Implode zone didn’t even know who Mike Knox was LOL. He hasn’t been in WWE in over 3 years LOL. So once more Ace’s and 8’s LAME and STALE…The Shield FRESH and NEW.

Ps Thanks for the Shout out kiddo I look forward to your…response (rolling eyes) lol.

      • fireworks Ts

Here’s the sonofabitch I’ve been looking for !!! Glad you could join us cap’t E mark… what’s fresh about The Shit ? 3 nobodies dressed in swat gear who attacks everyone( never seen that before ) who else is *bright* star ? Sandow ? Yeah he’ll sell out MSG , DBryan ? Already needs a new gimmick , Ryback ? To casual fans he’s a god , cause they’re tired of Cena. I like Dolph and I’m pulling for him so I’ve got nothing bad to say about the guy but as far as the attitude era bossman bunch is concerned… ill pass. Glad in the era of sucky wrestling a dipshit like you can find the silver lining.

        • kquickstillsucks

Hahaha how you think ALL of TNA is good and it’s going great is beyond me; I can’t even find a silver lining on that show. Bully Ray and BROOKE HOGAN? Sting? How BAD was his return yesterday?….AND WOW you think Rollins and Ambrose are nobodies….that tells me all i need to know about you. Ace’s and 8’s are so bad all 12 of them couldnt beat up a 50 year old man LOL. No wonder they wear masks….

    • Cujo999

TNA drew a good rating this week, but their show was frankly awful this week. The Knockouts tag team match was really the only highlight. Then, there was that awful Kash-York match. I dunno why they continue to push York, while he can do some nice spots, he isn’t smooth in the ring and at all and struggles to put good sequences together. Awful Festus promo that did nothing but fill TV time. Then there was the stupid Hogan-Bubba-Brooke angle that makes little sense that they keep trying to push. They even dropped the ball massively on the return of Sting. Just when Aces and 8’s has the numbers game going in the cage, and I’m thinking blackout-music hits-Sting cabled down from the rafters and cleaning house with his bat, he comes casually strolling down to the ring with no fanfare and the ref lets him into the cage. Then, big reveal Mike Knox. Wow, so TNA is trying to milk the limited fame of another WWE never-was?

    • Frank Shannon

Until TNA can build up more stable momentum and make more long-term investments in younger stars, they will still play second fiddle to the WWE, no matter how good or bad either product may or may not be. You honestly can’t pass off that they could thrive on former WWE, ECW, and (even this) WCW stars to carry their product for the next ten years. It’s just not plausible. They may have the nostalgia factor working for them, but it’s like placing a huge plank of wood over a pothole- the wood may cover the hole for now, but it’ll gradually give out over a span of time.

  • PERFECT_CELL

It’s cute seeing you get excited about TNA’s ratings going up for once. WWE suck so much yet TNA still can’t beat them in the ratings. And are you comparing aces and eights to the shield? The shield has 3 guys and the sons of anarchy oh wait I mean aces and eights are a bunch of WWE Rejects. And who’s sucking Vince’s taint? You’re obviously eating Dixie’s soggy vagina.

    • fireworks Ts

Address me cock sucker don’t fucking shield your comment directed at me. No one cares if you’re a lifelong E mark , the product sucks. CM Punk is TNA reject(he wrestled there first bitch) was Austin a WCW reject ? You stupid fuck wrestlers change promotions all the time and its a good thing they do or we wouldn’t have some of the legends we do have. I hate dumbasses like you who don’t even have valid point but shoot your man pleaser(mouth) off. Wheather its 3 or 8 dumb fuck its still a faction(Hi Legacy) do daddy a favor next time you wanna shoot with the big guns make sure you have something in the chamber pussy.

      • PERFECT_CELL

I love when little douchebags like you lose their cool. Its fucking hilarious! Resorting to middle school insults and vulgarity. I noticed alot of homosexual undertones in those fiery insults. Struggling in the closet are we? Ok dude im sorry i said a mean thing about tna. I obviously upset you and i wont do it again.

        • fireworks Ts

Once again pussy , you have no ammo. Its funny you made an profile to shoot off your mouth just to write a shitty hollow comment. Next time learn to have some form of an argument before addressing someone superior to you. Two comments later and you’ve still said nothing , only thing that got under my skin is weak you are by not commenting directly to me but talk shit. I’m done with you son… suck it easy.

  • fan

TNA the best product out right now? I guess that is why they are at 1.14 and WWE Raw is well over 2.0 annd close to 3.0.

    • Thomas-24/7 (Mutascale)

The only way TNA is going to get a 2.0 is that their going to have to spread their product out more. Before Hulk Hogan made his TNA debut, TNA promoted his return through television channels, and bill boards. These efforst is the reason why TNA made a 1.5 rating that day.

    • tiger

fuck you 24/7…TNA is the best in the bussiness nw…WWE has been around for about 60 years nw…TNA just comleted 10 years…so if TNA is 1 to 1.5 WWE should at least be 4 to 6…go fuck yorself or suck mcmahon’s dick…

      • Reality

You don’t get along with logic well, do you?

        • robby12345uk

The reality is that one day the ratings may be on a par as WWE’s are sliding so rapidly particulary on RAW that the gap in viewing figures is narrowing all of the time, also good points made here that TNA is still relatively new and buildling – look where WWF were 10 years in – nowhere near the size they are now or TNA are now, also globally and you can check this up, TNA now have more viewers due to deals they have managed to get across various continents moving a step ahead of WWE all of the time – sure TNA haters will disagree and tell me I suck etc etc I do not really care – check the facts suckers!

          • robby12345uk

In reality two things are really holding TNA down currently – the Impact Zone and people’s perception of them, watch out soon for WWE announcing a cruiserweight and tag team special shows, after all TNA lead and innovate – WWE simply copy and follow.

          • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=732542390 Donte Shoshona Gopual

I some what agree with you i think tna would get alot more views if they did their weekly show in an arena and not a damn basement with like 150 peolple there. I think their first step is erasing most PPV’s untill there is only 6 and use saved money to get out of that shitty impact zone and start touring live like WWE.
They NEEEEED that big time feel the WWE has.

          • Reality

I’m not a Tna hater, by far. Just get one thing: context. You can’t analyse facts without context. Thus: you’re an idiot. You’re welcome

    • fireworks Ts

I’m sorry shit for brains but WWE has been around forever and the majority are gonna always pick WWE over TNA , same way people still choose Google over Bing or yahoo over gmail. They’re doing something right over there , 10 years running with a TV deal. Learn the way the world works whore.

TNA and wwe both suck right now. Idk what you people are arguing about!

  • Filthy McNasty

I only watched TNA for Mickie James, ODB, Tara, and Miss Tessmacher. I don’t really care about the knockout matches I just wanna see their sexy bodies.. I wish ODB would make a DVD of herself completely nude and posing sexy! She makes me so horny and hot!! And I love Tara! I love it when she pins a girl in the ring in those sexy positions with her legs spread open this way or that way lol But I’m crazy about ODB and her banging thick body! I wish she did that move that Tessmacher does in the corner turnbuckle to me completely nude. She looks so delish!

  • SLIDER

TNA should be doing 2s or 3s now a days… and that’s IF they were a promoting/marketing machine which they are not. 1.14 is not good even if it is cable tv. But now a days people accept anything and have very low standards. It’s like a dad telling his son he did a good job at little league even though he pitched horribly and couldn’t even hit a foul ball let alone knock it out of the park. “It’s ok… you did great son!” Yeah.. that’s the problem, now the boy continues to suck because no one told him the truth and encouraged or desired him to improve. That’s TNA. Wasted time, and leaving way too much to be desired. Skilled marketing and promoting creates a big change in your business. Dixie and her pops are very well off, so money is not even a problem. They would have been out of that circus low grade arena by 2008 had they really wanted it. They obviously don’t want to get bigger and better, and that’s why they stay stagnant, no matter how many great five star matches they have. What’s the point if a giant audience isn’t paying attention? That’s the true pay off when it’s all said and done. What’s the point if Bobby Roode isn’t a household name, or Austin Aries. And these two are way too good for TNA imo. TNA is obviously not in it to get bigger and better, they are in it to simply “exist”. In business, we call that weak!
