Hogan & Bischoff Upset With Sting Over Missing Shows

Hogan & Bischoff Upset With Sting Over Missing Shows

Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff appeared on The Bubba the Love Sponge Show last Friday for a combination work/shoot interview segment that included one new piece of news, which was Bischoff knocking Sting for missing the last set of television tapings.

Sting missed last month’s Genesis pay-per-view and subsequent television tapings due to a family emergency, though it remains unclear what is was exactly. What is known is that nobody is questioning its legitimacy considering that he has been in the wrestling industry for years and has never had a reputation for coming up with excuses to miss dates.

Bischoff said that everyone in TNA has to be completely committed to the organization or things won’t work out, with Hogan adding he doesn’t see how they can use anyone missing shows. Internally, it was noted as a message being sent to Sting, though it’s unlikely he’ll get it considering that he pays no attention to the wrestling business except on days when he’s working as he doesn’t follow it online. Nonetheless, the belief was Sting had a very legitimate reason for missing the last set of shows.

Bischoff said, “Sting’s a great talent. Love him to death. My problem is now that we’re trying to do this big picture. I understand how big picture it is for the wrestling business. Sting had life-and-death personal issues, but from a business side, it totally screws us up. If at any time that happens, I got a personal issue, now we have to switch gears on who we use, you can’t build the world around them.

“Everybody has got to make a commitment. It’s easy to say we want TNA to be No. 1, but if you’re not willing to put TNA as a priority above almost every situation, then it’s probably not going to work out.”

    screw hogan and bischoff

  2. donkey says:

I wonder why Sting is missing shows maybe Eric, or they just don’t want Sting’s talent upstage all of the new talent. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

  3. tigger says:

um FAMILY first and foremost, if they cant understand that, screw ‘em

  4. GlassMan says:

This shows Hogan is a hypocrite. He doesn’t care of family, all they care of is the profit. If they want to care about the fans, care about the product.

  5. stormeo says:

I hate the Johhny come lately’s!!! Sting and others has already been commited to TNA!! Hogan and Bischoff are the ones that need to prove themselfs.

  6. Kallico says:

Back off Eric. Sting has respect and has stood firm in his beliefs thru everything that has happened in wrestling for years. You guys just bounce around where the money is. TNA fans are passionate & so far, you and Hogan seem to be on your personal little show since showing up. The “This is wrestling” chant from fans seems to have disappeared since you guys showed up. Its obvious to wrestling fans as to why. The nasty boys? Give me a break. Bring some talent in, not your personal friends to snatch some money & ride a gravy train.

  7. mr.misery says:

I think Hogan and Bischoff need to get their heads out of their wallets and realize that family is more important than a few wrestling shows. Personally, i don’t know if Hogan and Bischoff can even help TNA. I haven’t been a wrestling fan long, so maybe i just don’t appreciate some of the old guys they’ve brought in. I don’t know the nasty boys or NWO other than the name, so having those guys in TNA means nothing to a fan like me. They need to stop focusing so much on trying to compete with WWE and simply focus on TNA itself. If they do it right, people will notice.

  8. wager815 says:

Sting just needs to show up and wrestling the Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

  9. Councilman says:

Fnck that. If I had a family emergency, then I’m tending to family. I’m not putting wrestling before family.

  10. grunt says:

I agree Councilman if their mad at anyone missing shows then get mad at Scott Hall(sorry Scott)but Hogan and Bitch-off needs to respect family especially a emergency. The Fans Understand and is not upset at Sting.

  11. wrestleguy13 says:

I absolutely hate Hogan and Bitch-off as grunt put it. I take family over a job any day of the week and as far as everyone being committed, those two are only committed to their own wallets and egos bringing in all these has-beens just because they’re Hogan’s buddies. TNA is going to fade away into nothing and the blame goes to Dixie Carter, Hulk Hogan, and Bischoff. What a damn shame.

  12. Motormouth5150 says:

Family First…Work second..Maybe sting doesn’t work with you two again…maybe you are the reason wrestling got ruined in the first place and Sting doesn’t want anything to do with you anymore…I mean Sting keeps wanting to retire but TNA just keep dragging the poor guy back…Sting knows that TNA is going to fail now that Hogan and Bischoff will kill TNA and Sting doesn’t want to have anything to do with another ailing company…Sting just go to WWE already

  13. grunt says:

Totally agree Motormouth5150.Sting WWE is waiting.
