The New York Daily News has published comments that Hulk Hogan made to a fan at a recent book signing regarding his vision for TNA Wrestling. Hogan said that he hopes to bring in Steve Austin, Randy Savage, Rob Van Dam, and the Nasty Boys tag team to TNA. He also wants to start a new Monday Night War against WWE.
“I wish to talk to Rob Van Dam, who is considering returning to the ring, and convince him to join TNA,” Hogan said. “Plus I’m also wishing to contact ex-Nasty Boy Brian Knobbs, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Macho Man Randy Savage.”
The newspaper reports that Hogan is pushing for TNA programming on Monday nights, which was one rumored around the time it was announced Hogan and Eric Bischoff are partnering with TNA.
Hogan says he “considered for months” guest-hosting Monday’s Raw from Madison Square Garden before he “sealed the deal” with TNA.

You’d think he learned from the first Monday Night War.
You know, when the company going up against WWE lost.
Dude, if his wishlist came true it would push TNA to the next level!!! I so hope that all of this happens!!! I hope this sends WWE down the toilet and elevates TNA all the way to the top
Hogan is a GENIUS (not referring to Lanny)…who knew that the ONLY thing that any wrestling promotion had to do to COMPETE with WWE is get the Nasty Boys…My God..GENIUS!!!!
who is hogan kidding, their is no way in the world that stone cold Steve Austin would be caught in TNA, it’s a joke of a wrestling program with has been’s and never will be’s!
Austin would not be their dead or alive, just not happening.
Austin will never join tna.randy maybe nastyboys maybe…and tna will never be nothing like wwe…tna is trash
Hogan…wtf man.No one wants to see Brian Knobbs. As for the “Stone Cold” thing, however unlikely it may seem, why would he even be suggesting it unless there were a real possibility of it happening.Hell none of us expected Hogan to go there, who wouldv’e guessed Angle would jumps ship,or Booker T,or that Nigel Mcguiness would turn down WWE and go to TNA instead. All I’m saying is with everyone doubting TNA it’s not that hard for them to pull a shocker out of their a$$.I hope RVD seriously considers joining TNA,that would be a BIG step towards making them a more solid promotion.
Im really excited to see Hogan on tv again but what year is this? The nasty boys, Savage, whats next brutus and hacksaw? Giving Hogan the book is the worst idea in the history of bad ideas, Hogans ego begs him to put himself on top with all his old timer buddies and push the rest of the young fresh talent down so far theyll either quit and join wwe where vince will make them stars or they will flounder in tna till they go out of business. If you dont believe me, ask anyone who ever watched wcw.
Stone Cold Steve Austin -Never
Randy Savage-I don’t think so
Rob Van Dam-Maybe
Nasty Boys-Who Cares
Yep, Hogan’s talking out of his ego hole again…
If Hogan and Bischoff do this we might as well start getting ready to purchase ” The Rise and Fall of TNA Wrestling”. Those two will do just they they did in WCW and ruin it. It is already bad enough that Nash and the “Boys” have booted GREAT talent right out of TNA. You will have these 10-12 jerk-knobs and a locker room of jobbers again. Why doesn’t anybody learn… I really, truly hope this does not happen.
First of all those dumping on TNA and calling their talent nobodys and wanna be’s I have news for you with the exception of a handful of guys in the WWE their wrestlers are far more superior to that which we see every week on Raw and Smackdown. I can list the better WRESTLING yes actual WRESTLING talent off the top of my head so just to name a few:
AJ
Daniels
Joe
Nigel
Angle
Shelly and Sabin
and anyone in the X Division are all better as wrestlers than what Vince shoves down our throats. Also of that list every one of them turned down offers from WWE or in Angle’s case played Vince to get out of his contract cause he was miserable there. The reason they turned down WWE was cause they all knew they would be buried, given stupid gimmicks, or held down by the glass celing known as DX, John Cena, and the Undertaker and didn’t want to rot away waiting for a push that would never come.
Now that I got that outta my system Bischoff wasn’t the problem in WCW til Hogan came along, he actually had good ideas and believed in long term booking (which wwe does not ) and it was Erics creative ability that came up w the NWO and Hogan as a bad guy and everything that led to them dominating the ratings war. The biggest mistake with Hogan is allowing him complete creative control of his character and storylines cause he’ll never allow anyone to go over or attempt to be as big or bigger than him. To start in the right direction TNA needs to fire Russo, call Cornett apologize and beg him to come back, and call Heyman and offer him anything he wants to get him on creative. I know it’s never gonna happen but imagine a booking team of Heyman Bischoff and Cornett working side by side to elevate the company, with Dixie’s money they can sign RVD, Kennedy , sign Goldberg to deal similar to Stings and the company will soar to amazing heights too bad that’s more of a fantasy than me getting a night in bed with Layla lol.
One more thing
How long do you think it will be before Vince stops giving us the same main events over and over and over again? They always contain some combination of cena orton hhh hbk taker and Batista I say F’in enough already it’s old and stale and not worth spending hard earned money on ppvs for ughhhhh
Yes this is great to here, tna will finally. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .be buried once & for all.
IF THIS GOES DOWN TNA TNA TNA TNA ILL ALWAYS CROSS THE LINE
nwo was the best in wcw now tna and hogan and bischoff need 2 do something like that 2 ever win the monday night war. and i like hhh BUT DXS IS GETING OLD VINCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
