This week’s edition of TNA iMPACT! opened with footage from a staff meeting led by TNA president Dixie Carter. Dixie addressed the TNA roster and said there have been some big changes in TNA recently and there are more changes ahead in the coming weeks and months. The TNA roster has the choice to stand behind her or step aside.
For those wondering, we’re told that the talent meeting legit – the speech and the comments made by Carter came from her and was not something scripted for her by the creative team.

I knew that meeting was real…and that’s what’s scary. TNA can only do one of two things now, and ONLY one of two things…either explode to great heights…or have a complete epic fail…
For the sake of the business, let’s hope for the first.
First, as someone who has spent the majority of his professional life in the corporate world, I can say that the publicizing of the TNA meeting shows tremendous managerial immaturity on Dixie’s part. Very crass move.
Now Dixie, let’s analyze this: You were speaking (a bit petulantly I might add) to grown men and women who got where they are by scratching and clawing out an opportunity to market their long-unrewarded skills completely on their own. They lived with nothing for years and were kept going solely on their will, drive, hunger, and pure love of what they do. And then there’s you, who got the money to buy your company from your daddy. You are in no position to lecture those people about hard work and “stepping it up.” You have more growing up to do than I have space here to describe. If you have issues with the way your employees might view you, my advice to you is to remember that respect is commanded, not demanded. You should think for a while about how that applies to your workplace, and you should without a doubt think before you speak.
wonderful speech i might add
Dixie Carter is killing Tna
I would love to know what Jeff Jarrett thinks about what’s going on in TNA right now. We haven’t heard anything from him since the whole thing with him and Karen Angle came out. I just wonder if he wishes he never let Dixie have the majority stake in TNA or if he is behind all this with Hogan coming aboard. I think it would suck to be the founder of the company and then have to sit on the sideline and watch everything go on. I’m sure he had a vision for TNA to become as big as WWE. I think Dixie has that same vision. I do think she can make TNA bigger and better. I do think Hogan and especially Bischoff can make TNA bigger and better. I guess I just wonder about Hogan and Bischoff working with Russo. Maybe Russo will be out. I don’t think that’s a bad thing, because I think Bischoff made WCW the powerhouse it was in the late 90s, and I think Russo came in and didn’t help things. I see this as being awesome for TNA, or as a complete failure, too. I hope they succeed, because most of WWE, especially Raw, is becoming predictable and boring. If they can just find a way to make TNA the controlled chaos that WCW was when the nWO angle started, I can see TNA being huge. The hardest thing now is competing against the show WWE puts on for the kids. That is why the WWE is so big now. It’s not because of real wrstling fans, who I think are dying to see TNA succeed.
