TNA iMPACT! Rating: Did The Hulk Hogan Buzz Help?

TNA iMPACT! Rating: Did The Hulk Hogan Buzz Help?

The news of Hulk Hogan’s partnership with TNA Wrestling helped this week’s iMPACT! increase 20% over last week.

The 10/29 edition of iMPACT! drew a 1.3 rating. By comparison, the 10/29 edition of WWE Superstars on WGN did a 0.9 rating.

This week’s iMPACT! featured footage from Hulk Hogan’s press conference from Madison Square Garden in New York City. The footage aired in the show’s final segment and TNA hyped it all night.

Your darn right they helped. The only things they have going for them are Aj Styles, Matt Morgan, and Beer Mney inc.

Im sorry but Beer Money doesnt put asses in the seats…Hulk Hogan does…but sooner or later this whole Hulk Hogan angle will go stale…but I will be glued to the tv until it does go soft…hehe

  3. v1ct0ry says:

As opposed to WWE who have John Cena vs HHH vs HBK……..*snore*……Batista vs Rey Mysterio…..same feud Mysterio’s always had, tiny guy vs giant,oh no but wait! This time the giant is his boyfriend!Oh and CM Punk feuding with a referee.

  4. JohnyH says:

Anyone else find it pretty obvious v1ct0ry is a TNA mark? I think Hogan signing with TNA would have helped, but out of curiosity, if TNA think they can sustain the 1.3 rating I would just laugh in their faces. They need to keep this Hogan angle interesting, which is nearly impossible because Hogan goes stale after a month.
