– Regarding Lacey Von Erich’s disparaging remarks towards former TNA performer Angelina Love in an interview with the Miami Herald last week, she is claiming they were done in-character, reports f4wonline.com. She has contacted the newspaper asking if they could retract her statements considering they were misconstrued. However, it should be noted that the rest of the interview was done out of character.

In case you missed it, Von Erich said the following about Love: “[Angelina] wasn’t a good fit for it in my opinion. I thought that everybody was going to be, `Oh no. Angelina is gone,’ but not one person said that. Nobody really missed her that much. I feel like I can fill the shoes that I’m supposed to. TNA told me this role was made for me, and I feel the same way. I’ve never met Angelina before in my life. After what some people have said, I don’t know if I want to.”

Von Erich would change her tune by praising the ex-Knockout on her Twitter account. She wrote: “I hope everyone enjoyed the show last night! Angelina Love was amazing in the beautiful people and I hope I do it justice! P.S. Don’t believe rumors! I think Angelina will be missed in TNA and hope we can work together someday!”

– Former TNA Knockout Angel Williams (a.k.a. Angelina Love) wrote the following note on her MySpace account regarding recent online reports airing her in a negative light. Williams wrote: “Its amazing how the net focuses on the negatives & makes up their own…..never had an enemy, never had a fight. All times were great.”

While a number of negative reports concerning Williams have surfaced since her departure from TNA last month, it should be noted that we didn’t get a single negative report on her during her near two-year tenure in the organization. It would appear that her former co-workers are coming out of the woodwork to bash her now that she’s gone.
