i think it was only a matter of time before Hulk went to TNA, since its based out of Tampa and not that far from Hulks house. It just makes sense for both parties
I truely believe and I MUST ADMIT…..Hulk Hogan’s signing has DEFINATELY made me excited again about wrestling as I feel that they now have a chance to S L O W L Y get to the point of selling out venues bigger then previously. I honestly believe that TNA’s production values (from an artist’s persepctive) needs to improve. Eric Bishoff’s involvement will help TNA tremendously as far as creativeness involving the LOOK TNA needs to be in comparison to WWE’s. I guess we’ll all have to wait and see what happens in the long run……….THIS IS GONNA CERTAINLY GET INTRESTING…VERY INTERESTING..
This is definitely big news for TNA but they’re obviously getting too arrogant – especially by even flirting with the idea of doing a Monday night show. Vince is the God of wrestling, if TNA continues to try to get in his face he will destroy them, just like he did WCW. Vince is too powerful and too smart. TNA should know their role or they will be steamrolled by Vince. TXTNT622@AOL.COM
i agree txt. but vince also knows that he needs legit competition. He knows that if he is the only main stream company then people will get bored and stop watching. but if he has competition then he needs to keep thinking on his feet. For the record, Vince buying WCW was and still is a mistake.
u do know how dumb u sound sayin that miami and tampa are close together they are on oppisite sides of FL and also that tna HQ is in tampa when it is in Orlando right??
Although this is very interesting news, I have to ask a few questions. 1, given Hogan’s track record of staying in one place for to long…. How long till he’s gone from TNA? 2, Why are so hyped for him getting in the ring? Did everyone forget the god awful matches he was having last time he was in a ring? he was the man back in the day. But I emphisize BACK , when he could move about a ring.
If he’s fully committed then he’ll be a good figurehead. But everything has to be seen to be believed first, when it comes to Hulk Hogan news. And I really don’t see this pushing them up as a contender to WWE.
close as in a couple hour drive. not all across the US like WWE would have him do. Thanks for being a dick though
Vine does not believe he needs competition. Let’s face it, he’s losing it! The WWE has gone downhill the last two years! I think a big reason is becuase he has too many people to satisfy, and I go back to WWE going public and on the stock exchange.. since then it’s slowly gone downhill and the last two years especially. Vince does not care about TNA too much, and has admitted that there’s room in the pond for more than one company… but he’ll be insulted if TNA tried to forge a new Monday Night War and we can only hope that it would help to spurn some new ideas and so edgier(sp?) content.
We’re all speculating.. and tonight won’t tell much.. next week’s Impact should prove to be an interesting show.
