20-1 naw am just bullshiting but its going to be a good match

Punk puts up A plus performance but still lose

They should tagline this years WM as “Redemption” Because all three mainevent matches are literally about Redemption!

  • Stranger

Punk vs. Taker will steal the show this year.

    • dae

I’d like to see that match last all of about one minute. Punk gets into ‘Taker’s face, ‘Taker chokeslams him and then locks him into Hell’s Gate.

That would suck big time. I want to see a 30 minute match out of these two.

I can honestly say, I was happy and impressed with Triple H’s promo tonight, it gave me the feel of the old HHH. I just love it when he can seem more dangerous than a person (Brock Lesnar) great promo, gave me goosebumps. Undertaker vs CM Punk was expected but still Wrestlemania worthy, I cannot wait to watch that match take place, without a doubt it’ll be amazing. I would’ve loved too see Orton vs Taker again just because there fued back then amazed me.

man i dont wanna see taker win again…i wanna see punk beat him by cheating…imagine the heat punk will get from that and taker gets to save face because punk didnt win clean…i mean if taker wins again then what? punk has looked weak for the last 4 months and then hes gonna lose to taker and look even weaker…why reduce him? hes already a heel have him beat taker by cheating and then have him shit talk for a year about ending the streak and set up a rematch for next year mania and let taker win

    • jccox01

Punk shouldn’t even be in a WM match against taker. Let alone win against taker at WM. HBK would have beaten taker before punk.

      • fatneal

i agree 100% but at this point taker isnt putting anyone over, hes fragile, and being used for repetitive or just plan stupid feuds just to sell a few ppv buys…im a fan of taker like everyone else but he needs to call it quits…im not punk mark, i like em but im not a huge fan but i do see how he is a front man for the company and is a top tier guy…i say mix it up and create controversy by having him win by cheating…the streak doesnt matter anyway…if taker loses people will still pay to see him appear again…it only puts punk over and creates legit heat IMO

        • JaffaJoose

This is just me, but personally, I would hate to have anyone end the streak by cheating. The streak is a huge part of the Undertaker’s legacy, so if/when it ends, it’s going to become a huge part of someone ELSE’s legacy. Whoever beats the Undertaker at Wrestlemania should go down in history as The Guy Who Beat Undertaker at Wrestlemania – not The Guy Who Cheated.
Sure, a victory by cheating would create some huge heat for Punk in the short term, but I think in the long term, it only cheapens his accomplishments.
I don’t know. Maybe it’s just me, but I think twenty years of build-up deserves a clean ending, one way or the other. I’d be fine with Punk winning. Actually, I think I’d even prefer it. But he should do it clean.

Should be some pretty good matches at Mania. I just wish that Punks reign would have lasted until then. Imagine Punks reign at like 500+ days against the Deadmans streak. Title match would only add to the intrigue. Well, we all know Takers streak would still be intact after Mania anyways. I think Taker, HHH, and Cena are pretty much locks to win at Mania.

  • fatneal

if wwe is smart they will have taker put punk over to finally launch punk in that cena level of super stardom

    • dae

Just what I want… We go from the Attitude Era to the PG Era to the Whine and Cry Era… I change the channel for many promos these days because it seems like every guy on the mic (save Cena, Rock, Sheamus, and Orton) just whines. One of the reasons I think that TNA puts on a better show.

  • guest

Yeah! Now CM Punk fans can finally stop bitching about how Punk is disrespected.

  • Realan

    21-0 !

If Only Punk was still the Champ
this match would have been Perfect
But still This match IMO will steal the show
followed by Jericho’s match with whom ever it is

  • satishwarne708

This may be a good way to say good bye for Taker by putting Punk over but since it may be too late to end the streak, they should give Taker the spoils saying that though I would like to see Punk first make him tap or pin him only for the ref. to screw him up again.

after raw with the NAO-Triple H mentioned that he will never go to the ring with a full bladder again,
acknowledging that he had an accident.

This is where you see the business side of wwe. CM Punk would win, shooting him in a light to possibly turn heel, or just keep being the bad guy and be struck down by someone else. Now, not hating on the Rock but, if he didn’t take the championship, then Taker could have beat CM Punk and we would have him retire with he championship. But since Punk has been in a losing streak thus far, he has to win this one. Plus, Mark wants to retire…and this might be his only way out. But i can guarantee you that when the streak is broken, you wont hear from him again in the wwe.

Punk will lose but personally i think 20 was good the should of left it
