The mag had its ups and downs but I think we all agree that the posters are usually pretty sweet and will be missed.

I don’t think I’ve gotten one in probably 10 years and haven’t gotten them regularly since the mid 90’s right towards the start of the Monday Night Wars. Every time I saw them on the magazine rack in the last 2-3 years I haven’t even cared to pick them and flip threw it because the cover picture and articles teased on the cover were super cheesy. I think the only good thing Russo has done in wrestling was his work on WWF Magazine back in the day.

Kayfabe dying killed the magazine for the most part, beck in the boom period why would you buy a WWE magazine when right next to it on the newstands there were other magazines that talked about the behind the scenes stuff. It was never at the level of The Torch or Wrestling Observer but other magazines acknowledged it was scripted. Raw Magazine was good for the Diva spreads but PG WWE Magazine was always lame.
