Update On Rey Mysterio’s Absense From RAW: Battling Flu & Stomach Virus

On Monday’s RAW, it was announced that the finals of the Tag Team Tournament have been delayed a week due to Rey Mysterio being unable to compete.

Rey Mysterio is battling the flu and a bad stomach virus. He’s been under the weather for a few weeks and working through it, but he missed this past weekend’s live events due to the illness.

Dave Meltzer reports that Mysterio’s stomach virus is bad and he’s been bed ridden in recent days. It remains to be seen whether he’ll be healthy enough to compete on RAW next week.

    I can see it happening… Team 619 Sensation will win the titles not b4 TLC, lose them either ar RR or ER, and Rey will turn on Sin Cara. And there’s your WM match. (most likely a Mask vs career, if Rey is in bad shape, and plans to hang it up)

    This couldn’t have come at a worse time.

    Sin Cara and Mysterio have been working so great together and the quality of Cara’s singles matches have definitely become better over the past few weeks.

    It would be a real shame if Mysterio was sidelined right now.
