Wow, so shocking that this happened. Crazy timing too. Glad that we were able to see him one last time on Raw. His speech is so eerie in hindsight, but glad he was able to address the crowd one last time. RIP WARRIOR!

  • Bryan says YES

didn’t iron sheik always used to bash and hate Ultimate Warrior? i dont think he care about his death

    • oppa

A lot of people bashed and hated Warrior. They took so much pride in bashing him in the first DVD. That’s WWE for you. Forget Tough Enough and the internet exposing the business. People making it clear as day they don’t have much respect for each other when they are alive, but then acting like they feel that they were true legends and all time greats when they die exposes how fake people in the business are more than anything else.

      • TheTruthWillSetYouFree

Apparently Iron Sheik went on to say it was a work when bashing Warrior. With the Sheik the way he is, I believe it.

That’s people in the real world in general. When my grandfather passed, my mother was super lugubrious; talking about how he and her were so close, how she always respected him and all of these other claims that were way out of line. In reality, she avoided contacting him for the last decade of his life (even when he was paying her rent and taking care of her children). It wasn’t until he was near death that she all of a sudden was “close” to him. Now she cries when she’s drunk talking about he and her were bffs and how much my grandmother screwed her over as a child with things she once blamed on both of her parents (like her having 3 kids by 3 different men before 21). What a phony whôre.

        • Reality

Did you just cut a great promo or…

          • G.I.R.L.

            It’s the “or” part, Reality.

          • MSK_B.O.Y

ingrates like you are worse who doesn’t respect their mother

          • G.I.R.L.

LOL I bet you’d tell Marvin Gaye the same thing about his father.

            Wake the freak up, loserboy.

          • MSK_B.O.Y

think about all the good things your mother did for you instead

          • Reality

mmh.. Sorry to hear that :/

    • one warrior nation

All of Iron Shieks interviews were part of a “work”. He was just doing that stuff in character.

  • QuiteFrankly2k

I just saw Batista’s tweet to him on twitter! Batista does the rope thing because Warrior did it! Thats amazing..such a sad ending..

    • SOBI

Yes that was a very nice sentiment by him

  • lazarus87

R.I.P. Warrior. Glad that we all got to see you one last time, everything about this is so eerie, last night was almost foreshadowing. Prayers for your wife and children. Love you man. Tell macho hi for us.

  • IKeepsit100

I need DB to come out with the Ulimate Warrior face paint mask. WE NEED THAT 1 time!

  • Ted Danson

    Made my childhood fun. Thanks

  • john

Funny . Half the people that shat on him are now showing respects. My thing is if you never liked him you shouldn’t bother. Maybe they are sincere in their respects , I don’t know. This business is too fake

  • the icon

RIP ultimate warrior your legacy will live forever in hearts and minds of all the warriors all over the world….on side note vince mcmahon for hall of fame next year he should be inducted while hez alive

  • Thomas

Everybody should wear Warrior make up on Monday night RAW after the job WWE did trying to ruin his name. It would be nice for his family to see.

    • Bullrogg

Now is not the time to argue this stuff but Warrior did all that stuff to himself. The important thing is they made up and everything was good in the end.

      • raVen

what’s important is the character fans knew and that’s what we should remember. this isn’t a benoite arena of warrior face paint would be amazing to see.

  • Progressed_Now

lmao RVD was probably stoned at the time, no friggin clue what’s going on around him.

  • Buzzard Follower

Man i just woke up to this. We just saw himand now hes gone. Ill remember that promo forever. RIP WARRIOR

  • Steve Hemingsworth

I have a weird feeling that Warrior called Vince and basically told him there is something wrong with him and that he needs to add him to H.O.F. He most likely told him a health issue in secret but asked him no to say anything and that he feels his time is coming. Vince out of respect didn’t say a word. I could be wrong, one never needs to feel like he’s almost at his end. but if it is true, at least he got the rightful send off he deserved. R.I.P The Ultimate Warrior.

  • one warrior nation

At least 19 Superstars (probably more) tweeted about his death. He was the biggest star of 1990 and 1991. His match at Wrestlemania 7 was the REAL main event that night and all these superstars that are the same age as Rollins Miz and AJ – that’s the big match they all probably think of from their childhood. Warrior enters at #16 after Andre The Giant, Texas Tornado, Dino Bravo, Rick Rude, Mr Perfect, Hawk, Big Boss Man, Crush, Earthquake, Yokozuna, British Bulldog,Owen Hart, Chris Benoit, Brian Pillman and Randy Savage in the eternal Royal Rumble !

  • Wes Eisenschenk

Glad to see Nash and Warrior buried the hatchet. Also, with Warrior pointing out Dibiase in the crowd you get the feeling Warrior was making the extra effort to bury some old feuds.

  • 5er

    Maybe you shd.
