What Happened After SmackDown, Main Event Preview, Swagger DUI Signs

- After Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown tapings from Albany, NY went off the air, The Shield came out and beat down Randy Orton and Sheamus. Ryback ran down and made the save and then it became a 6-man tag match. The match ended in a disqualification after Roman Reigns brought in a chair. All the babyfaces hit their finishers to send the fans home happy.

- WWE confiscated several “Jack Swagger DUI” signs at this week’s RAW, according to f4wonline.com.

- The following matches will take place on tonight’s episode of WWE Main Event:

* WWE Intercontinental champion Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton (non-title match).

* Cody Rhodes vs. Zack Ryder.

    del rio/swagger will be 2nd or 3rd on the card because nobody gives a flying flunk about swagger. i actually think the DUI helped him. at least now people shout at him instead of going to the bathroom when his music hits.
    of course del rio is a total flop as well.

    I normally don’t condone WWE taking signs from people but they were right in taking signs away this time. I understand that Swagger was stupid in doing that, he knows that as well as everyone else that read the report. That doesn’t give us the right to ridicule him for something stupid when half of the people in that audience has done something worse. It truly pisses me off how people like to point out people’s shortcomings and make jokes about them when they themselves haven’t accepted their own.

      I am going to have to oppose you on this one chief. I think fans are just showing how nepotism is running wild (my apologies to Hulk Hogan) in the WWE. Why is Swagger and Naomi getting off on some pretty damning indictments against the wellness policy and not even receiving a handslap, while they have lowered the hammer on others with both suspensions and terminations? It’s not like WWE has never punished a main event guy before ala Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton. The fans are simply pointing out the obvious that the WWE is playing favorites and it is quite difficult to take their wellness policy seriously when the WWE brass are weak to enforce it. If the WWE doesn’t want to see these signs, then step up suspend those who break internal bylaws and you won’t have to see them.

      For those that are using Wrestlemania as an excuse as in “Well, they already have the Wrestlemania card locked it is too late to change it..” that is a comp out — All the WWE has to do is scratch one name Jack Swagger and insert Dolph Ziggler, there problem solved.

        Actually the correct term that I should have applied in lieu of nepotism is cronyism – Since to my knowledge Swagger is not part of the McMahon family. Nepotism would = Triple H (being the boss’s daughter’s husband) everyone else it’s just cronyism.

    Orton should’ve just beat down The Shield and thereby preventing any intervention from Ryback or Sheamus who didn’t have no business interfering in this match.
