I like it, but there’s only one full-time superstar on the poster. Kind of insulting to all the full-time wrestlers.

    • BrahmaBullRKO

Seeing as how all three pics were already used in other posters, this is definitely just a prototype poster. I’m sure the real poster will at least include Punk.

      • siberian_skies

        You’re probably right.

  • cenasucks

The obvious faces make it to the poster. Its cool though but downplays the storyline that brock “has left and isn’t coming back”. This years mania was solid with the hiac match and punk vs jericho, which is one of my favourite matches. Lets see how mania 29 turns out.

    • cappa37

bahahaha I forgot that Brock “quit” and said he would never return. lol Oh WWE, you entertain me.

      • J.e Da Don

brock is going to be at wm29 because he will be facing triple h one last time brock has one major date left on his contract so thats why he isn’t going to be in the ring until wm29

        • Craig DeBoard

Dates include appearances that are non-wrestling roles as well. They aren’t going to hype a match for him without him showing up at least once or twice on Raw. You don’t know what you’re talking about when it comes to his contract.

          • J.e Da Don

u right but don’t tell me i don’t know wat im talking bout just make the correction

          • Craig DeBoard

You don’t know what you’re talking about.

        • Dan Kincaid

We know he will be there, it’s just the fact right now that in storyline he quit and isn’t coming back.

  • Josh Oswald

Oh no…Cena vs The Rock vs Brock…

  • kquickstillsucks

Lesnar vs Cena would have been the ticket i think if they didn’t hot shot it for a B ppv. Really not sure i wanna see Cena Rock again sooo we’ll see what WWE comes up with.

  • pwnez

I think this is an ugly looking poster. Last years was better.

  • Bushwald Sexyface

The mere quality of the poster makes it obvious it is not real.

    • bayarea08

      I agree.

i thought it was a picture taken from someone

      • Jacob Rael

        Its from the WWE MAGAZINE

    • CyberCriminal

    • Craig DeBoard

It’s from WWE Magazine. Please don’t post unless you know what you’re talking about.

      • Bushwald Sexyface

Got any proof of that? Seriously, someone took that shitty of a photo out of a magazine? Wtf kind of camera were they using? One from 1973? I just dont buy that shit and I find it funny that you do. Yet, none of the other places I read that are actually more reliable have anythng on this when they’re normally the first places to post new posters. Hmmm. Whatever though. You keep being a gullible moron.

And if you’re going to attempt to insult my intelligence, use fucking Google next time. You’ll find something a lot more “bright” to use, dipshit.

        • Craig DeBoard

Proof? Yeah it’s called WWE MAGAZINE you fucking moron. Christ. Get off my fucking internet already. I never gave you permission to be on it.

      • dudeinbangor

        lol ownage

  • TheMainEventingJobberWithHeat

    • Andrew Campbell

It’s only a temporary poster designed to sell tickets, so it’s natural that WWE would put it’s three top draws on the poster.

I’m sure Punk will have a huge involvement in ‘Mania 29 and will most likely make the final poster anyway.

      • Craig DeBoard

It’s hard to say. Sometimes they only have two guys on those. Then other times they have like six of them. At the end of the day no one really gives a crap about them either way.

    • KRRISH

That bitch can’t draw and that’s the reason he isn’t in the cover.

  • Swag Daddy

I wonder if HHH will wrestle, WM is really getting stacked with Brock, Punk, Cena, Rock, Possibly UT and HHH.

  • 7 year old boy

Cena should be in the middle instead of Lesnar :p
Anyhow I truly think Punk has deserved to headline the wrestlemania poster. Anyone remembers the pipebomb?

    • DemmyDevil

Uh, did you get through to yo’ period yet boy or are you high on some shit???

    • Josh Foley

cena doesnt deserve the poster it should be brock rock and punk no cena….cena sucks

      • Craig DeBoard

If you don’t like Cena, that’s fine, but denying the face of the company a spot on the poster for their biggest show would just be stupid.

    • Steve James

How could we forget? He’s been coasting off that one promo for a year and a half. But what has he done that’s new or innovative since? What changes did that one “indistry-changing” promo actually bring about, other than a lengthy title run for Punk, which is probably all he cared about anyway. 16 months later, and WWE is still PG, Cena is still the Main Event, ratings are still low, the writing is still in the trash, and (thank FUCKING God for this one) Colt Cabana is still unemployed.
I’d say attacking fans is the new “Pipebomb”.

damn man why do i have the feeling that wm 29 isnt going to live up to expectations

  • Kjhaltz

It’s a WM poster there is typically many.

  • DemmieDevil

    Same shit as Last Year…Nice

  • RationalResponse

please please please not rock vs cena 2.

    • Craig DeBoard

I wish it weren’t so as well but we know it’ll happen. Cena will win the Rumble and The Rock will defeat Punk at at the Rumble to win the title. The big question is who will face The Undertaker since Brock will most likely face HHH. If Punk doesn’t face Austin I’m betting he’ll be facing Undertaker.

      • indywrestler22

Just like EVERYBODY”knew”Cena was gonna beat Rock at 28 &look what happened. This is WWE we’re talking about:things change minute to minute. Don’t believe the hype or what’s “suspected”.

        • BrahmaBullRKO

I agree. It’s still likely that it’ll happen, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re purposely starting those rumors to throw us off from what they’re really planning.

  • jeff_sonnen

WM29 the event of the rematches?

  • Stranger

I know these opinions aren’t going to be very popular on here, but I haven’t seen a Wrestlemania that was great from top to bottom and memorable since 19.

Last year was decent. Rock/Cena I was ok with, Taker vs. HHH Hell in a Cell was a good match, but not a good Hell in a Cell Match. What I mean by this is that it told a nice little story (complemented by HBK’s contribution) but the cage ultimately was used as a means to improve buyrates. It wasn’t utilized the way I think it should be. Punk/Jericho was a fun match but they didn’t really “click” until Extreme Rules.

Nothing else on the card was impressive. Bryan vs. Sheamus lasting 18 seconds, Orton vs. Kane in a forgettable match, Big Show vs. Cody Rhodes was atrocious, the tag match revolving around the GM storyline wasn’t important since the division between Raw and Smackdown means nothing (Also, Otunga makes everything look worse than it is), and I don’t even remember much else. You had crappy performances from poor artists that took time off the PPV.

If anything, one of my favorite matches (Tag Team Match) took place in the pre show!

Also, why in the world is CM Punk not on the poster?

    • ItsProgressNow

awww come on Y2J didn’t click? I got the HD rip and I always zoom to one specific spot “PUNK……HOW’S YOUR SISTEEER????” and that goofy ear-to-ear grin afterwards lmao

other than that, I agree with you, there hasn’t been a memorable WM since 19…hehe come to think of it, there hasn’t been a memorable WM since Cena showed up.

    • BrahmaBullRKO

I’m pretty biased on the quality of Mania 28 since I was there, but you make valid points. Even I started to daydream during that Team Johnny/Teddy match.

  • Kenard

Lesnar vs cena vs rock for wwe title

    • Craig DeBoard

      Only if Lesnar wins LOL!

      • Craig DeBoard

        Allow me to clarify.

The Rock as champion would suck and serve no purpose. Cena as champ is old and no one is interested in seeing it again. Lesnar as champ though means he runs rough shod over WWE with Heyman calling the shots.

  • Hobo With A Shot Gun

    Looks pretty good so far

  • 1991awest

    Fake. The end.

    • Jacob Rael

Its from the wwe magazine moron

  • YouWish

I’m telling you, The Rock is being brought back to build for a title at WM. He will LOSE the title match at Royal Rumble by some cheating or whatever(hopefully by Punk), gets pissed, enters himself as entrant #30, wins the Rumble, and THEN the old Rock comes back for 2 months building toward his WM title match. It’s the only way to have a great rumble, and lead into the build for WM. I only hope it’s Punk who has the title again around the Rumble.

As I’ve said before the only real interesting storyline at WM would be Rock v Taker for the WWE belt. 2 legends getting one last crack at the title is HUGE. Because Rock is supposed to win the title at WM, but also there’s talk of Taker winning the belt at WM, so book that match and you CANNOT pick the winner. The streak could possibly be over. The streak needs to end anyway, all streaks end, but maybe save it for WM30 so Taker can ride off into the sunset with his retirement match at WM30 so the WM crowd can give him the best ovation in WWE history, but it could happen at WM29, so I’d vote for Rock to beat Taker for the title and to end the streak. Rock gets all the glory once again and Taker gets his as well. I’ve always said Triple H should be the one who finally beats the streak, but then again, he’s had his shots, so maybe this scenario is the winning one.

Brock v Cena one last time, but this time you throw Triple H in the mix and you have a 3 way TLC match or something brutal, or Triple H as a special guest enforcer/referee. This way, if WWE doesn’t sign Brock to another deal, Triple H/Cena can end Brock’s career with brutality.

Then of course, you have Punk v Stone Cold. I’m sure Stone Cold’s injuries are healing and he’s being cautious, BUT, Stone Cold OWES Vince BIG TIME. Believe me, Vince is betting on him being ready for WM29. Ever since Stone Cold fucked him at the Raw 1,000 show by not being there, he’s gonna wanna be ready for WM29 for Vince. The two love each other, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see Stone Cold really try his ass off to face Punk. They’re already building the feud now, so why not have it at WM29?

There you go sons, a very HOT WM29 card. Rock v Taker for the belt, Cena v Brock v Triple H, Punk v Stone Cold. DUNZOOOOO. That’s a hot ticket.

Believe me, I’m an amazing booker.

  • Doug Funnie

    Dream booking:
Extreme rules match: Brock vs. HHH
    Cena vs. Undertaker
WWE Title match Rock vs. Punk (Punk to win…make him a megastar)

  • Craig DeBoard

You say “cocaine” as if it were a bad thing or something.

    • Fido Riko

lol cocaine is a bad thing

  • Reality

    Keep swinging on Rock’s dick.

  • Reality

I trully believe CM Punk deserves to be on the poster.
He’s regarded as just below the megastar. That’s because they AREN’T making him a megastar for christ sake. He has everything to be a megastar. But I don’t know HOW, it’s not happening.

    • felixrt

Megastars are huge draws and iconic, household names (e.g. Hogan, Stone Cold, Rocky). I’m not even sure that Cena could be called a megastar, though he’s the biggest full-time star on the roster and closer to that status than Punk.

      • Reality

I know, thanks. I think you didn’t understand what I meant.

  • Jacob Rael

At least lesnar could be on tv more then the rock not much more but still more

  • Chris

    Triple threat!

    Brock Lesnar!!!!!!!!!!!!
