NXT Rookie Taken To Hospital, Sexy Star Trying Out For WWE?
– Lucky Cannon suffered a head wound while taking a bump at last night’s Florida Championship Wrestling live event in Punta Gorda, Fla., reports www.pwtorch.com. FCW trainer Tom Pritchard was sitting at ringside when the injury occurred and hastily dismissed the NXT Rookie from the ongoing match.
Regarding the injury, Cannon wrote late last night on Twitter account: “Just left the hospital.. Stitches above my left eye … I’m good though.”
– It was reported a few weeks ago in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AAA Women’s Champion Sexy Star had been in contact with WWE officials in regards to joining the organization. It’s worth noting that on Wednesday, the masked luchadora posted a cell phone image on her Twitter account indicating she is in Tampa, Florida, which is the home of WWE’s developmental promotion, Florida Championship Wrestling. She did not, however, identify the purpose of her trip to the United States. Although it should be noted that a tryout camp is currently being held at the developmental facility, which concludes Sunday. Over 50 individuals, both male and female, are participating in the evaluation clinic.
– WWE returns to the Yakima Valley Sundome in Yakima, Washington on October 10th, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale August 7th, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.

Honestly I like this kid…he reminds me of the old fashion babyface…in the Brad Armstrong, or Sam Houston or 123 KId mold…Not gonna turn alot of heads in ring….but extremely underrated…I can see Lucky Cannon being used as an underdog babyface…Have not had one in awhile and I think Cannon fits the mold perfectly
For once I agree with @ Motormouth5150 he definately reminds me of the Armstorngs, Bart and Billy Gunn, Young Tracey Smothers, Tim Horner, Sam Houston, but not so much 123 kid I think Brian Danielson reminded me of the 123 kid mixed with a little Bob Backlund.but great point WWE can keep Cannon as an upset kid that puts on great matches with the stars only to come up a little short IE. Brad Armstrong. against Ric Flair type thing.
I can see sexy star without the mask paired up with Alberto Banderas or whatever name he’s going by now or under the mask paired up with Rey Rey.
a masked woman wrestler, you say? could she be more fun to watch than the other masked machismo loser? if so, i’ll watch. Lucky should be eliminated and do something else. he could be the next 1-2-3 Kid, and from there, he can transform into his own X-Pac.
This may be just me, and I think it is, but for some reason I like Lucky Cannon. Sure, his promos are a bit stale but he has a gimmick which could be quite interesting if he had the right storyline behind him. Give him time, I think he might surprise us.

Lucky Cannon wouldn’t be a big drop… His Gimmick needs work, In the ring his ok & on the mic he sucks but has had some alright moments lets face it his not gonna win NXT and won’t be in WWE forever
