*Spoilers* SmackDown Tapings Results For Tonight
- Thanks to Eric for the following WWE SmackDown spoilers from last night, which will air on August 6th:
* The show opens with Rey Mysterio. Rey says he did not take out The Undertaker. Drew McIntyre comes out and says he’s going to take out Mysterio just like he did to Christian last week. Rey accepts Drew’s challenge for the main event.
* Cody Rhodes defeated Matt Hardy.
* A backstage segment with Layla, Michelle McCool and Teddy Long. Teddy demands they give up one of the belts and Michelle does. LayCool argues and break the other belt.
* Dolph Ziggler defeated Kofi Kingston to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. Ziggler got help from Vickie Guerrero in the match. Kofi attacks Dolph after the match and beats him up bad.
* CM Punk, Serena, Joey Mercury and Luke Gallows come out. Punk shows footage of them beating up Big Show last week and brags about it. Punk cuts a promo on his fellow SES members.
* Punk, Gallows and Mercury defeat the team of MVP, JTG and Chris Masters. Good match here with Gallows getting the win for his team.
* Teddy Long and Jack Swagger had a backstage segment. Swagger blamed all his troubles with Kane on Teddy. I think this may have been a segment for arena viewers only since they referenced the dark main event.
* Rey Mysterio defeated Drew McIntyre in the main event with a rollup. This was the best match for SmackDown of the night.
* After the match Kane comes down and there’s a casket. Rey escapes from Kane and says he didn’t take out Undertaker and reveals that Kane was the attacker. SmackDown ends with Kane staring up to the sky for a long time, crying or laughing to himself.

How predictable, Kane as Takers attacker.
All of us called it right from the get-go.
Okay so Kofi loses the IC title that means he should get a world title shot by Survivor Series or what ever the PPV is for November and Dolph should dump Vicki as for Kane being Taker’s attacker let me show you my surprise face :/

Looks like were bout to see the end of lay-cool, im wondering who gonna get the belt now.cody over hardy thats nothing new hardy and christain been jobbing to drew and rhodes for a few weeks.kofi lost the belt so it looks like he’ll be in the main event scene now, i think masters and mvp needs heel turns, they are way better heels, drews been improving as of late.

Ok, we all knew it was Kane, but did they have to give it away on a taped show. I would have waited and revealed it live at Summerslam.
OK so you dont approve of any WWE show, yet you show up on here ignoring the fact that NO ONE cares whether or not you approve of anything WWE does. jherna47, you’re just letting everyone here know how pathetic of a mark you are. I pity you. On to thoughts of the spoiler……..LayCool splitting? it couldn’t have happened at a better time. I like the duo, but Layla and McCool have to start their individual path now, more specifically, Layla. The situation with Kane being revealed as the culprit who walloped the Deadman to a “vegatitive state” is sort of starting to creep me out a little bit, because its something that has been done before and doing it like this isn’t really a good move. I would’ve been comfortable with Nexus being responsible, but I guess this is the way to go, but nonetheless, next week’s Smackdown is turning into an entertainment-worthy card. I’ll definitely watch this one. and yes, I, too, agree it should’ve happened at SummerSlam. I think they should team up MVP and Masters with the Big Show against the SES, but then they turn on the Big Show because they were getting no appreciation or pushes from WWE management and they blame Big Show for “stealing their spots”.
Well hell with ZThe Undertaker so called being in a vegetative state and his attacker being Kane it is just like HHH and HBK in 220 when someone mysteriously attacked HBK in the parking lot with a sledge hammer and it just happened to have been HHH so this was already done so I suggest WWE update some of those storylines I mean the viewers already knew that it was Kane before the storyline even started

No, Aasir predictable things only happen on Smackdown, Raw on the other hand is full of surprises. So don’t blame the WWE just blame the creative team for Smackdown.

Yes that was probably the most obvious storyline in WWE history. Monkeys in Africa knew that Kane would be revealed as the one who attacked Taker.
