WWE Changes Their Original Plans For Roman Reigns vs. Triple H Feud

It’s looking more and more like the rumored Roman Reigns vs. Triple H showdown will be taking place at either the Night Of Champions pay-per-view, or the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view.

Originally, Reigns vs. HHH was scheduled for SummerSlam, however, as previously reported, it’s looking like Reigns vs. Randy Orton is the plan for that show.

WWE is looking to stack the deck at Night Of Champions, as that’s when the initial six-month WWE Network subscriptions expire. As a result, the Reigns-HHH match was likely pushed back in the plans, as to schedule it so that it happens when Network subscriptions are up for renewal.

Additionally, the thought process is that Night Of Champions or Hell In A Cell would be closer to WrestleMania 31, where the idea is to push Reigns into the top baby face spot.

Smart move actually…..BUT, if WWE Network was avaliable in more countries, it might have been more easy for them….there are plenty of fans worldwide, who would gladly buy the subscription, including myself, but instead we have to watch the PPVs from ‘illegal’ sources, which is a shame

      • Ryan Clark

You choose to watch from illegal sources.

        • Cloaker

…..where else can we watch them?

          • Elvin Zammit

            Buy paying for it legally

            • bambam’s ghost

$50 for 2 good matches and a bunch of crap. I would never pay for ppv!!!

            • https://twitter.com/StrangeDeranged Pozessed

              F*** YEAH!

            • mac888

But the product is mostly garbage, why should Vince profit from lazy booking and screwy finishes?

            • Cujo999

I’ve got no issue with people not watching a ppv because they don’t think it will be any good, but pirating them screws a lot more people than Vince. The wrestlers on the card get payoffs based on the buyrate, and when the buyrate is down because people are pirating it, they get screwed, too. If you want to watch it enough to stream it illegally, then you should want to watch it enough to buy the network, go to a blast zone and watch, or get some friends together to share the cost.

            • mac888

Nah it’s better for free but I see your point

            • Gotstodobetter

The wrestlers can f off too for going along with the terrible show.

            • https://www.facebook.com/RandomBrainActivity Bully FU

Agreed, another thing these people don’t realize is their refusal to buy a PPV plays part in the bad booking and such since the buyrates don’t change much. If the buyrate was really high during the time when Punk was champion or someone other than Cena than the WWE would pay attention to that. They are driven by dollar signs.

            • Fadi Arnouk

But cena is always the champion…

            • Fadi Arnouk

Dude just no WWE PPVs are a total of 6-7 crap of crap and one semi-solid match I will not pay anything for that sorry…

            • Fazzax

I live in the UK and have BT Sport, I get some of the PPVs included in that package but some aren’t and ordering them doesn’t work. There is no way for me to legally watch the big PPVs because box office doesn’t work in my area.

      • The Real Fan

Illegal source probably gives your info to serial killers, trust me buy the ppv it will save you

    • LACenaFan

If I were them, I’d put Reigns vs Lesnar for the title (forget Wrestlemania, that isn’t a main event caliber match like Rock vs SCSA or Undertaker vs HBK) at Night of Champions, then Triple H vs Reigns at Hell in a Cell in a HIAC match. More subscriptions that way.

    • mac888

Let’s just say Mr Reigns had A LOT of work to do if those are the plans, unless they pair him with super talented wrestlers who can sell like crazy and make him look good. His skill level is that of a tag wrestler, his singles matches leave much to be desired right now

      • Marvin B.

It’s just been a few weeks damn let him get used to this singles competition; give him some time

        • mac888

He wont get much better, all he has is the right look and that’s it. Sometimes that’s all you need to be a star though

    • brad

Reigns vs HHH should be a true blockbuster match as any match with Paul is.

    • insomniacreviewer

HHH being a true champ is going to put Reigns over since he actually cares about the business, unlike Super ego Cena who buries everyone.

      • Bryan

How many times do I have to explain this to someone it’s Vince not Cena as Cena has no problem putting people over but Vince is afraid that it might hurt Cena to lose to a heel.

        • insomniacreviewer

It wouldn’t hurt Cena at all to put anyone ever, Vince knows that.

          • Bryan

Cena has put people over. He put over Edge, Punk, Bryan and he’ll most likely put over Reigns if the 2 have a match.

            • insomniacreviewer

Edge never went over clean and if i recall right Cena got the title back fast, Punk didn’t go over clean either and Cena buried Bryan on the mic the next night.

            • Bryan

You don’t have to win clean to necessarily get over. All 4 men I mentioned were made stars after their feud with Cena and how did Cena bury Bryan on the mic the next night? You do know they are basically brothers in law as they both are dating the Bella twins.

            • insomniacreviewer

They were stars before Cena, Cena did nothing to really elevate them. Next night on Raw Cena basically blamed his injury for losing to Bryan.

        • gdaddy1971

Forget the guy. He openly admitted that he is trolling by making these Cena statements. He is just a moron looking for attention. The fact that he thinks that he is smarter than everyone else is a stupid notion however.

          • insomniacreviewer

I’m not a troll actually, i just hate when wrestlers don’t give a crap about the business and refuse to put people over.

          • Progressed_Now

actually the moron would be you for taking the trollbait.

      • pwnez

Lol. Even when Cena has nothing to do with this article, you still talk about Cena. I’m beginning to believe you’re a secret Cena fan who is only trolling him to get attention. I guess in a way it’s working.

        • insomniacreviewer

Not a troll, i’m stating that even HHH puts people over.

    • Pfc Mark Kevin Apalisok

they should make – Roman Reigns Vs Bill Goldberg would be interesting to see at Wrestlemania 31 if bill returns as a part time similar to lesnar!
