WrestleMania 26 Rumored Card: New Matches Added
This week on RAW, we may have seen the groundwork laid for one of the top matches at WrestleMania XXVI. It’s been assumed for months that Bret Hart’s return to WWE would culminate at WrestleMania in some sort of match with Vince McMahon. Bret’s physical abilities are not what they once were due to a series of concussions and a stroke several years ago, so his physical involvement would be limited and a Street Fight match was discussed.
On RAW, Bret Hart confronted Vince McMahon and was ready to extract revenge before he was attached by none other than Batista. McMahon ordered Batista to restraint Hart and then got his own revenge on Bret Hart for something he did at Survivor Series 1997 by spitting in the Hit Man’s face. The crowd in Nashville went wild, chanting for John Cena as the show went off the air. (What Happened After RAW) The angle was red hot and unfolded with a level of excitement rarely seen on WWE television these days.
With that match looking likely, here’s an updated list of WrestleMania matches we’ve heard talked about among WWE employees:
Bret Hart and John Cena vs. Vince McMahon and Batista
Edge vs. Chris Jericho
Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker
Triple H vs. Sheamus
Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes

I do think the more logic ideas are the street fight or maybe this tag team match you’re saying here. Also i thought there could be a match similar to what Vince had against Donald Trump, with some wrestler representing Vince and Bret, but maybe that will take out Bret making some moves and people do want to see Bret putting Vince into the Sharpshooter. People exploded yesterday at RAW when Bret was about to make the move.
If there’s some tag team as you put here i hope is a free match or maybe a tag team tornado, so there won’t be any time restriction or place, so maybe cena and batiste will start something like a street fight and bret and vince go anywhere fighting
Also the idea of a street fight between Vince and Bret is ok. There have been a lot of time that matches doesn’t go out of the ringside, and maybe this is the opportunity, also involving some help for Vince and Bret, maybe Hart Dinasty helping, also Batista, Cena, etc.
Also i thought if HBK will represent or fight for Bret Hart, that will be a shocking surprise i guess.
What will HBK do now that he’s not even in the Elimination Chamber for the RAW title? something tells me he’s going to appear at Smackdown somehow and be in the SD Elimination Chamber somehow. Now he’s able to appear at SD, he stills unified tag team champion, so maybe this friday he appears at SD and make some surprise.
looking at brets medical condition it makes sence to make it a tag match in stead of a street fight but i rather see vince vs bret and cena vs batista in brandwarefare match
Bret & HBK vs. Vince & Batista = ratings. Cena would just piss off the fans. Plus HBK would get the monkey off his back, he hasn’t been the same since he shuck hands w/ Bret.
Why would the writers go past HHH and Vince beating down Bret with Shawn coming out to make the save. They could do it so everyone thinks Dx have set Bret up for anther screwjob type betrayal when Shawn deliver SCM to both HHH and Vince and we get the most anticipated tag match in WWE history. HBK and Bret versus HHH and Vince. It would skyrocket ratings given the history and all 4 being the main players in Montreal.
I don’t think HHH will want to be in the feud with Bret and all that. HHH didn’t want Vince to bring Bret to WWE, so i guess HHH preferes to stay apart. But HBK i guess will be a nice support for Bret.

tbh I think these matches for Mania are kinda suckish…apart from Orton vs Rhodes vs DiBiase and Edge vs Jericho…the Bret and Cena vs Vince and Batista would be better if it were just Bret and Vince…coz Cena and Batista kinda ruin the MS feeling (kinda like what grunt said about Cena)…so why can’t Cena and Batista have there own match or something or…better idea…The Rock gets his ass back before Mania so he can have a match with Cena at Mania…I know he said he isn’t interested but to Vince its all about the money and I think people would pay to see that…and Batista can just…I dunno…do something…=P

I know what will happen….at elimination chamber HBK will find some way to get into the smackdown chamber match maybe superkicking R Truth (last year Edge attacked Kofi and got in the match and it was for RAW and ended up winning) I see Shawn winning the World Title forcing Taker to face him at WM26
Cena and Bret will go against Vince and Batista obvisiously
HHH vs Ronald McDonald WWE Title on the line and a wasted spot for another bland main event headlined by HHH
Ted Diabse vs Randy Orton I don’t see a triple threat match at all both are in the chamber Ted will cost Orton a victory etc
I;m really thinking they’re putting Edge against Christain for this year’s WM Christain has already beat most of the WWECW roster and Edge has kinda downplayed the fact that there’s 3 world champions by focussing on Ronald Mcdonald and Taker and Edge against Y2J would be lengendary but that’s what everyone’s expecting to happen the WWE knows what the people are predicting to happen
