Briscoe Brothers Get WWE Tryout, Kofi-MSG
- Former Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions The Briscoe Brothers and independent wrestler Papadon received tryouts with WWE in front of Vince McMahon and others before last night’s television tapings in Philadelphia.
- The advertised dark main event for next week’s three-hour RAW in Hershey, PA is DX and John Cena vs. Randy Orton, Chris Jericho and Big Show.
- Paul Burchill and Katie Lea are now gone from the ECW brand after The Hurricane defeated Burchill on tonight’s ECW. If Hurricane would have lost the match, he would have had to remove his mask.
- It appears Vickie Guerrero is still with Eric Escobar, despite previous reports. Vickie accompanies Escobar to the ring this week on WWE Superstars for a match against Jimmy Wang Yang.
- Kofi Kingston posted the following messages on Twitter from New York City on Monday:
“Shooting a commercial in ny before the show. Busy day! But busy is good people. Busy is good.” and “Wow. MSG was absolutely 100% amazing. To wrestle in a venue with such history is truly an honor.”

Anyone who hasn’t seen a Birscoes match, PLEASE do yourself a favor and do so. These guys are phenomenal together… They’ll never get in to WWE and if they do, this is the worst time for them to get in. They’re too good for WWE’s current brand WWE holds back their young guys, doesn’t want them to look ‘too good’ in front of the main event aging veterans.
