- John Cena is not currently scheduled for any WWE live events in January of 2010. Cena will begin filming his next WWE Studio movie “Brother’s Keeper” on December 7th in New Orleans. For a few months, Cena will not be wrestling on any WWE live events and will only be appearing at TV tapings and pay-per-views.
- The LA Times had an article up yesterday speculating that the extension between WWE and the USA Network might lead to bigger things like a WWE network or WWE on NBC’s HD Universal channel. There have been preliminary talks between the two about the WWE TV network. They also talk about how Comcast may be taking over NBC Universal soon and if they do, that could be a plus for WWE as Comcast reaches almost 25% of the country.
- As previously reported, Rey Mysterio is in need of knee surgery. He’s expected to take time off soon which may cause the feud with Batista to be rushed.
- WWE will tape ECW and SmackDown tonight from Philadelphia with The Hurricane vs. Paul Burchill on ECW with Hurricane’s mask on the line and Burchill’s ECW career on the line. SmackDown this week will feature Kane and The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho and Big Show plus Dolph Ziggler vs. John Morrison in a 2 of 3 Falls Match for the Intercontinental Title.

Cena needs to take the rest of his career off. He is and always will be the suck.
No wonder. Cena has been through a lot of pressure dealing with crowds and the WWE. It started after Bragging Rights when he refused Legacy a match no because he was ducking them, but because he knew they were trying to give Orton another shot at the title. He wants to see wrestlers like Kingston, Swagger, and the Miz to get their chance at the ball, and deservedly so. ECW and Smackdown has done the same and has become a success, RAW should follow. Instead, Cena faces DX. RAW screws the younger wrestlers, RAW screws Cena. Cena needs a break. I fear Cena will be the next Bret Hart or Sting, because he’s so loyal to a business that isn’t loyal to him. Sooner or later something going to crack.
Why don’t you all leave Cena alone. Let him do what he want to do. It is his career and if he wants to do movies let him. He will always be my favorite WWE Raw wrestler.
Cena doesn’t suck. you do for saying so. Cena is the BEST wrestler on the RAW roster thank you very much!(:
My comment of “Cena doesn’t suck. you do for saying so. Cena is the BEST wrestler on the RAW roster thank you very much!(:” is for leobuzzo666.
To this day, I just don’t get why so many guys are so down on Cena. Just how many pure mat wrestlers are there in WWE now? The answer to that would be….none. Tired of his moves? Well, lets see how familiar and often we see the Irish whip, the sweet chin music, the shooting star press, the pedigree, old school, piledriver, high knee,rko,etc.etc.etc. The ‘popular’ wrestlers run out the same old moves.Match after match after match. The cheers raise the roof. Cena brings what works, adds a couple actual wrestling moves, adapts to appease these ungrateful clowns, and what happens? the boo birds fly. Well, until you come up with a WWE superstar with a higher work ethic and a clean pee test history, keep your boos and ‘you can’t wrestle’ crap to yourself!
