Flair & Hogan Removed From WWE.com’s Alumni Section
Following the announcement that Hulk Hogan will now be working with TNA Wrestling, there have been some curious changes to WWE.com that are worth noting.
Both Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair’s profiles have been removed from the Alumni section of WWE.com. Eric Bischoff, who will be joining Hulk Hogan in working with TNA, still has a profile on the Alumni page.
While its somewhat understandable why Hogan’s profile would be taken down now that he’s working for WWE’s top competitor, there hasn’t really been anything newsworthy with Ric Flair in recent days. While he is wrestling next month despite WWE’s grand sendoff last year at WrestleMania, this has been known for quite some time.

McMahon has an ego so big he can’t stand competition from other industries. He would consider it sport entertainment for the sake of the money but never the effort for it. Now that two legends are in another federations do they part ways with respect? No, he acts like they we’re Bendict Arnold, a marriage for life. He turned WCW and ECW into heels for publicity, he humiliated Savage and Hogan before when they were for Ted Turner. And now Hogan with Flair and TNA, he will destroy them too. He doesn’t care about tradition, he cares about money.
McMahon is so pitifully childish and spiteful it borders on comical… but really just coems of sad…
It makes no since to remove Hogan and Flair form the alumni page. You can’t erase the history of what they’ve accomplished in WWE. No matter what a superstar does after departing WWE, WWE should want everyone to know how those superstars performed while they were there. It still brings attention back to them. When Jordan went to the Wizards did the Bulls stop showing Jordan highlights? When Bird started coaching the Pacers, did the Celtics stop showing Bird highlights?
