I bought the ppv and was suprised. I debated about buying with the Iron man match but it was awesome. Cena and Orton finally at a good match if not just a little to late in the rivary. (By the way did anyone else notice how Micheal Cole said “and later John Cena WILL BEAT Randy Orton in the WWE Championship match)

Glad I didn’t pay for that. Ick. I don’t think I’ll be buying Royal Rumble on PPV for the first time in I dunno how long… this product is getting worse. But I get HHH and Cena tonight right? Star that buildup?? Maybe run that all the way to WM26? Yeah.. it’s gonna be swell…. with the viper Orton lurking all the while.. Ted’s face turn might help for two weeks…

Sorry, totally sick of Cena….Maybe I would like him if he went back to rapping. WWE is just losing me these days. They want me to be excited again? Here are my suggestions:
Push the New Harts, and bring in Bret as their manager. (and bring back Teddy Hart to join them!)
Push all the young guys (time to clean house). Actually sign and bring in Bryan Danielson (they already lost Nigel because they were dragging their feet). Booker T is probably coming back….Should I celebrate now, or wait to hear the “Five time, five-time, five-time” chant?
I guess we can look forward to a Game-Cena war now…Yawn.
The rest of this PPV? Let’s just say I’m based on the matches and results, I’m glad I didn’t pay for it (or even watch it).

Batista heel turn was inevitable. Smackdown has a powerful stable of heels. A injured Undertaker can’t take them all on, he’s going to need some help. Now if Cena is to lose, he’s headed to Smackdown to become the face of the show, but the show doesn’t get ratings, so why put the most over character on a program with low ratings? And if Cena is to lose, that’ll only open the door for HHH to dominate RAW once again. They haven’t built anyone up on RAW to become the face of the program in case someone goes down with injury or traded away.

I’m glad to see that Miz won. He’s very much improved over the past year or so.

I would be more interested if the card were all non-title Champion vs. Champion matches. The 14 man match is too much like Survivor Series. I thought these new “re-branded” PPVs were supposed to make the events more unique. Does anyone care about Cena Vs. Orton for 60 minutes?
