- On Friday, TMZ.com broke the news that was heading back to WWE. Later in the WWE, WWE announced that Hogan will be the special host of and will be returning to WWE television on Monday’s RAW.

The original plan was for WWE to break the news on Monday afternoon to get the internet buzzing about the return in the hours leading up to RAW. Several people in WWE were wondering why WWE didn’t announce the news on last week’s RAW, which would have gotten the news even more exposure.

TMZ’s leak on Friday led WWE to change their plans and quickly send out a mobile alert announcing Hogan’s return.

– Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg interviewed Elimination Chamber participant last week to hype tonight’s pay-per-view. Here’s audio of interview:

Unless you’re Jericho who kept his Royal Rumble return quiet only a couple of years ago, such a genius.

      • Ayatollah of rock N rolla

        Thanks.

    • BasedWorld

It looks like it’s still alive to me.

    • superturbo

No it didn’t. It was; people in the wrestling business who allowed the internet to kill wrestling, thinking everything needs to be put out in the open for some reason.

WWE’s just rolling with the punches given the world of digital technology we’re in today, hence the whole “WWE Network” thats coming our way. If one doesn’t somehow embrace the internet or the latest digital gizmo?, you’d be considered a “Dinosaur” of the past!

Well either way the news would’ve been Brooke so it doesn’t really matter.

  • Callum

  • raVen
