WWE RAW Results – With Videos (3/25)

WWE RAW opens up with a video for John Cena and The Rock. Both will meet tonight on RAW.

– RAW kicks off with CM Punk and Paul Heyman coming to the ring. Heyman has the urn in hand.

CM Punk In-Ring Segment

Punk talks about how people say The Undertaker’s Streak is unbreakable and how The Deadman is unstoppable at WrestleMania. Punk talks about the urn and what “they” say it means to Taker’s powers. Punk says “they” don’t know what they’re talking about. Punk says he’s the only one that matters. Punk says Taker’s career is now being re-written by the best in the world. Heyman applauds Punk and a small “ECW” chant breaks out. Punk says this is The Undertaker’s fault. Punk juggles the urn and says it means everything to Taker but nothing to him, before throwing it to the mat. Punk says for the first time in his life, Taker is at a psychological disadvantage and he’s scared. Punk says Taker could have kept The Streak alive but it’s him Taker’s dealing with now. Punk goes on and says he’s waiting, here he is. He’s waiting for the lights to go out and those magic words, “rest in peace.” Punk says at WrestleMania, Taker and his perfect record will… rest… in… the lights go out and the bells toll. They come back on and Taker is in the ring. Taker unloads on Punk and beats him down in the corner. Heyman grabs the urn and runs to the back with it. Punk escapes and runs up the ramp as Taker paces around the ring. Heyman comes back out with the urn and hands it to Punk. Punk taunts Taker with the urn as his music plays. Taker cuts his own throat and looks on from the ring.

– Still to come tonight, John Cena and The Rock will do a Q&A with current and future Hall of Famers. Also, Fandango will finally make his debut.

Fandango vs.

Back from the break and out comes Fandango with his dancer and their own entrance. Fandango takes the mic and says his name but is interrupted by Chris Jericho. Jericho runs down and spears Fandango. Jericho unloads and Cole mentions this was not the scheduled match. Fandango escapes out of the ring and heads to the back with his dancer. Jericho is hype and looks on from the ring as his music hits. Cole mentions Jericho was scheduled to face Dolph Ziggler later on. Dolph’s music hits and out he comes with AJ Lee and Big E Langston.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Chris Jericho

Jericho waits as Ziggler, AJ and Big E make their way down to the ring.

Jericho tackles Dolph to start the match. Jericho with a back elbow that sends Ziggler to the mat. More offense from Jericho as AJ looks on. Ziggler with a big kick to the face to turn it around. The crowd chants for Jericho and he fights back. Ziggler blocks Walls of Jericho but runs into an elbow. Jericho climbs to the top and comes down with a big crossbody for a 2 count.

Back from the break and Ziggler is in control after Big E laid out Jericho during the commercial. Jericho with a roll up for 2 now. Ziggler dropkicks him for another 2 count. Ziggler with a splash in the corner. More back and forth. Jericho comes off the top with a double ax handle and a clothesline. Ziggler runs into a big boot. Jericho with the bulldog. Big E gets on the apron but Jericho dropkicks him. Ziggler with a big DDT for a close 2 count. More back and forth. Ziggler taps out to the Walls of Jericho.

Winner: Chris Jericho

– After the match, Big E runs over Jericho and lays him out with his finisher. They leave and out comes Fandango with his dancer. They dance around Jericho before Fandango attacks him and unloads. Fandango screams for Jericho to say his name as the crowd chants “you can’t wrestle.” Jericho tries to fight back but Fandango lays him out. Fandango shows an aggressive side here. He goes to the top rope, poses and hits a big leg drop. Fandango takes the mic and says his own name before heading back to the back.

– Back from the break and Matt Striker is backstage with Sheamus. We see what happened on SmackDown with tension between he and Big Show. Striker asks if Sheamus and Randy Orton have buried the hatchet with Show. The Shield interrupt and attack Sheamus from behind. They beat him down but Orton makes the save with a steel chair. Orton also gets beat down until Big Show arrives to clean house and make the save. The Shield retreats.

Mark Henry vs. The Usos

We go to the ring and out comes Mark Henry for a handicap match. Henry heads to the ring as we go to commercial.

We’re back and The Usos are out now. Henry locks up with one of the Usos and sends him to the mat. Henry tosses Uso across the ring and he tags in his brother. Henry keeps control until they double team him with a dropkick and a few superkicks. Henry goes down and gets hit with a big Superfly Splash for a 2 count. More double teaming but Henry fights them off. Henry sends one Uso flying from the apron into the fan barrier. Big clothesline for the other Uso. Henry hits a World’s Strongest Slam for the win.

Winner: Mark Henry

– After the match, Henry goes to ringside and grabs the fallen Uso. Henry brings him in the ring hits another World’s Strongest Slam. Henry with another slam on the other Uso. Henry hits the ropes and drops a big splash on the other Uso, saying that nobody splashes him and gets away with it.

– Cesaro vs. Del Rio is up next.

Antonio Cesaro vs. Alberto Del Rio

We go to the ring and out first comes WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro. Justin Roberts goes to introduce Alberto Del Rio but out comes Ricardo Rodriguez on crutches. He says his legs are weak but his voice is strong. Out next comes the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio.

They lock up and Cesaro works on the arm. They trade holds and Del Rio also works on the arm. Cesaro makes it to the ropes and breaks the hold. Cesaro takes Del Rio to the corner and works him over now. Del Rio fights back and hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Zeb Colter comes out to the stage and distracts Del Rio. Cesaro attacks from behind and takes back control. Cesaro with more offense in the corner. Cesaro with a headbutt to the jaw. Cesaro goes up top but Del Rio cuts him off. Del Rio climbs up for a superplex and nails it.

Jack Swagger appears at ringside and attacks Ricardo. Swagger rips Ricardo’s protective boot off. Del Rio gets up and leaps out of the ring, taking Swagger out. Del Rio unloads on Swagger and fights him into the crowd. Del Rio with a big kick to the jaw. Del Rio gets counted out.

Winner by Count Out: Antonio Cesaro

Is Wrestlemania season seriously happening right now, because it does not feel like it.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002196281205 Kenneth Anderson Jr.

      I did tonight.

    • umeer ahmad

      It feels like Wrestlemania season

  • Lemonz

Am I the only one who caught Jericho saying “Don’t say anything” after he got leg dropped by Fandango while he was on the ground but yet Fandango said something & then Jericho was nudging on his leg saying “Don’t say anything”.. I’m actually interested in that match, Jericho without backround dancing from Dancing with the stars but that has no part, what jericho said about being a target is true, 10 years exact he did the samething with HBK to face him at Seattle. The hype between The Rock & John Cena was really good. Raw was pretty good, as much as some Raw’s aren’t good, WWE is actually doing good with most their talent and showing them on air and giving them a chance.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002196281205 Kenneth Anderson Jr.

Nope. i heard it too. and yeah Raw was great. Beginning to end. The only one who will hate is Pwns.

    • Lemonz

with* if you actually listen to Johnny Curtis story about wrestling, it’s actually pretty interesting, him & his best friend wrestled in the woods all the time and his best friend died in an accident and he dedicates all his matches to him.

    • A Paul Heyman Guy

Y2J also told him right at the end “look at me” lol.

    • lou

heard that too…jericho is always fairly loud when giving in match instructions

  • A Paul Heyman Guy

A lot may disagree but I sensed a Cena heel turn during that Q&A.

    • Lemonz

I agree, it would be pretty cool if it was like a similar heel turn as in WM17 with Vince & Austin but instead with Cena but I dont see any high profile power to side with Cena on that.

      • Rock Solid

I think Cena is going heel too. The vibe seems to be going in that direction, and I’m actually not 100% certain, but I’m hoping for it big time! “I HAVE To beat you Rock”…Either by any means which means going heel during the match, or failing for a second time and going heel after the match is over! The hint is there. If Cena wins clean, or loses clean with no heel turn of any kind.. then WWE would have screwed up big. Because doing it at WM, on the big rematch, in NY/NJ of all places… this is the best time to turn him. If they’re going to do it, they have to do it at WM 29. He’s had windows of opportunity to turn before, now it’s a huge one… they’d better take the opportunity and do it.
Cena also said “WWE will never be the same again” after the match.. could be a possible hint right there.

        • DamiaN BanCster : Mafia God

WWE might just be trying to hint at a John Cena heel turn just to run the WrestleMania buys up. Then, once it’s over…John Cena will still be the “face” of the company. But I.D.K…We’ll see.

        • G.I.R.L.

          This and this some more!

        • jccox01

I don’t think he’s going heel just because he draws in a lot of money on his t shirts, I just think he’s going to wrestle seriously and just dominate the rock.

    • G.I.R.L.

Oooh don’t get me too excited now!

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_4OF2JDUTXED6KFOPHEVMJ2ZYBA raVen

was it when he was trying to cry or when he got his ass planted on the mat?

    • Big Johnny

I’ve gotta say a lot of people are saying he can’t turn heel because of the lack of a babyface to replace him. I mean the Rock can carry that role to Extreme Rules but maybe this is time for them to give someone else a chance. Ziggler? Ryback? It’s not like they’re doing so well that they can’t afford to experiment.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000863512412 Lee Rodriguez

With the way this storyline is goin and the way they making him obsess over the fact he needs to beat the rock a heel turn is perfect but we all know WWE wont do it cause their too scared even Austin did it twice in the same year Punk became a heel while he had his streak and their stock rose i don’t understand why not go thru with a heel turn its not like Cena is a stranger to being a heel when he first started he was heel so why not now

  • Scott Kinnard

What is the WWE doing having Jericho wrestle Fandango a Wrestlemania? Nothing against Johnny Curtis but come on! Jericho deserves a much more formidable opponent at Wrestlemania.

    • cerebus_MAXX

jericho only came back too put over younger talent i.e. Fandango

      • Scott Kinnard

I get that but he should be putting over guys like Cesaro and Barrett. I would be okay with putting over Johnny Curtis but do we really see the Fandango character being something long term?

  • HellNoNO

That segment with The Rock and John Cena was incredible. Before I didn’t care at all for this match but now, I am looking forward to this whole ‘redemption’ thing. Cena pulled off the role of a heel in that segment. WWE needs to make the decision in making Cena a heel at Wrestlemania. Giving The Rock the most devastating loss that it would haunt him for the rest of his life…a heel turn would be the perfect scenario.

    • WCWPunk

I absolutely agree 100%. I loved the segment as well. Although I’m not convinced seeing Rock win for the 2nd straight time. There’s no way Vince will allow the face and poster boy of the WWE lose twice at Wrestlemania. Plus The Rock already won last year, so basically he has nothing to prove by winning again. As for Cena a win for him especially for the WWE Championship would mean a whole lot more. I see Cena winning the big one in just 13 days.

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002196281205 Kenneth Anderson Jr.

IDK, I see Cena losing and turning Heel. That segment felt like a turning point for john

        • WCWPunk

That’s a good scenario. And that’s another possibility, put the two together and that totally makes sense. We’ve heard for years how The Rock would not come back and wrestle and proved us wrong by coming back to WWE and Wrestlemania 27. We’ve been hearing forever how Cena will never turn heel, so maybe this might be his chance. It’ll be interesting to see how this is going to turn out that’s for sure.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002196281205 Kenneth Anderson Jr.

Raw was awesome tonight! Got a bit sluggish in the beginning but was still very good.

Fandango vs Jericho feud is getting good.

Mark and Ryback both had entertaining squash matches.

Shield match was alright. But built up the 6 man tag for Wrestlemania.

Alberto and Ceasaro was ok but it could’ve been better

HHH segment really wasn’t necessary. I would’ve saved it for the last week.

Rock & Cena Q&A with HOF looked like a bad idea but it paid off very well in my eyes. Cena and Rock got very personal, and it seemed like Rock wasn’t holding back at all unlike last year. I really liked how they teased a Cena heel turn and i hope they don’t drop the ball.

Taker & Punk segment was great. Punk got some great heat and Taker came out and got into a brawl which i liked. I can’t wait for this match.

My only complaints….The tag team titles/divsion/matches ect. WWE is failing big time with this. Ziggler definitly doesn’t belong in the mix. Also Miz should not be going over a champ when he isn’t one himself. Makes the champ look weak.

    Raw 8/10

  • Y2J

If Cena doesn’t turn heel after “that” then that will be like one huge middle finger to all of us.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002196281205 Kenneth Anderson Jr.

  • umeer ahmad

Great Raw! Great segments, really good matches! Can’t wait for Rock VS Cena and Taker VS Punk! The Match card is pretty good. Can’t really complain. Y2J vs Fandango can be a great match. So stop being butthurt, and realise that we can get a pretty good WM!

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002196281205 Kenneth Anderson Jr.

Weeks ago everyone was saying the build up was awful, the feuds are weak and the WM29 card looks lame. See how one good Raw can turn that around?

    • http://twitter.com/sugarkayne6 Kayne Corey

It’s a step in the right direction with only one more Raw left. But it didn’t get totally turned around.

  • http://www.facebook.com/jervaughn.stewart Jervaughn Stewart

Ok I think I see how the Cena v. Rock match is gonnna turn. I think they’re trying to make it similar to Rock’s last match with Stone cold at Wrestlemania 19 when Rock turned heel and the storyline was based on how Rock had done it all except beat stone cold at Mania. Only difference is they’re being sly(or careful) about turning golden boy cena heel

  • http://twitter.com/Shaddy_esc_617 Rashad Jackson

i think it wud of been cool if the rock mentioned that he has already beat him once so if he wins or lose it wudnt mean anything cuz he beat him already the first time…beating him a second time wud be great but i doubt wwe will let him lose again cuz i honestly hate cena now n i want him to lose but him being the face of the wwe now…it may not happen…

and i said it before n ill say it again….NO ONE!! in this current WWE roaster/ura…shud EVER!! in the streak of the undertaker…there are only 3-4 guys left for taker to really fight…punk…cena…rock n lesnar if they are still around n if undertaker can still fight…out of those 4 the only person who SHOULD end it is lesnar but again NO ONE!! shud ever in the streak!..
if lesnar decides to stay for 3 more years n faces taker at one of the WMs sure.,..same with rock..but if they both have short contracts then forget it…the only 2 ppl wud be punk n cena…and i def. DO NOT want cena to win vs. undertaker lol no1 shud ever in the streak…degrading and destorying a legacy by doing that to the likes of ppl like punk or cena…and for cena to say hes gonna prove to the rock that he is a attitude star or w/e he mention is crazy…idk if i consider him a attitude era star..to yall??…he came in at the end of the attitude era though…and i say it ended at WM20 really..

  • HunnyBunnyAngel

I enjoyed this show. Punk and taker had a good start. All of thechampionshad good matches especially the ic title match. Mark and rybacks feud continued and so did the shields. The divas even got some things (props to kaitlyn for getting thrown into a bubbler :D and selling that issued spear). This hopefully sets up a1 on 1 Wm match or a winner takes all with hell no. I missed cena and rock but other than that, great show,

“WATCHED TONIGHTS RAW” gets money ready to order it cena will turn heel i feel it in my bones lol

  • http://www.facebook.com/THE.BIG.JOBE Michael Jobe

And let the “Cena’s going to turn heel” talk begin. Idiots it aint gonna happen.

  • WWEFan4Life

Hmmmmm… it was a really awesome night, way better than I and many other IWC fans expected… overall, though, it was just a basically predictable night, matches, segments, promos everything.

  • Guest

Is it just me thats noticed that John Cena is the only man that can never jump properly for a Rock Bottom… he did it at Mania and last nights Raw. Hes so terrible at landing moves its untrue.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_4OF2JDUTXED6KFOPHEVMJ2ZYBA raVen

he just doesn’t have ANY athletic ability.

he is too bulky, flat footed, and just not athletic. watch the guy run it’s like watching kevin nash climb a ladder.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Randy-James-Crawford/100001407556559 Randy James Crawford

John Cena is athletic at lifting weights, running track, I seen him do that.

  • Legend

You either like it or you dont like it.

But i understand and appreciate the fact:

Cena is the majority of the reason that the stadiums get filled every week.

In my opinion, and feel free to disagree, there are currently only 2 people that can end the streak: Cena and Punk. And it’s because of this: They are the main reason people watch wrestling. They love Cena, face or heel. They love Punk, face or heel. They have been there in the past, and they will be there in the future. For years to come. They will carry the WWE.

I honestly believe Rock and Cena match is the biggest grab for money ever imagined, just like how the Rock is even here today: Purely for the money and to draw ratings.

But please. To continue the future of the WWE, and for all the long time WWE fans that wish for once, the ‘bad guy’ will win..

    Let. Punk. Win.

  • http://twitter.com/Jonesy27 Peter Jones™

Anyone who thinks that Cena will turn Heel is deluded, The guy makes way to much money for the WWE as the good guy for all the kids! Many people have commented here that he is the poster boy for WWE and that tells it all! We would all love to see it but there is NO Chance that Cena will be a heel!!!

  • DarkWolf

its already etched in stone John Cena will beat The Rock Because Vince will not let his star pupil to lose twice in a row

    • GodsLoyalSon

He did lose twice in a row

  • Progress_Now

lol the only time Khali displays serious technical skills is when he’s gettin his ass kicked

  • Shockmaster

Awesome segment with The Rock and Cena. It does seem like they might set up a Cena heel turn. I like Solomonster’s idea of having Cena allign himself with The Shield, either to win at Wrestlemania or the next night on Raw if he loses again. It all makes sense, too, with Cena feeling he has to beat The Rock or he sees himself as a complete failure.

    • Reality

Well I’d like the idea of Cena employing them, but not the idea of him as their leader. The latter would suck imo

  • whos john cena

Holy shit a cena heel and a orton heel at mania would be awesome and that would make wwe’s top 3 wwe superstars all heel including cm punk already a heel.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_4OF2JDUTXED6KFOPHEVMJ2ZYBA raVen

why would cena turn heel? he’s getting the belt back and finishing his whole redemption story. no heel turn kids… it will never happen, give it up.

that main event seg was terrible!

    “I have to that’s why..sniffle sniffle”

“what i’m askin, if you will, is what do you want, baby?” ..they want to win they both just said it.

is shield getting the push or is it big show again?? cause this story is 100% about big show now.

Jericho jobbing to a flop character..

is it big zig vs hell no or AJ on the outside watching some guys?

lesnar jobbing so it’s best he wasn’t on the show.

punk is lost in this stupid storyline. the build up to taker is always so dry. it’s always the same
“i’m the 1. you haven’t faced me. this is different. DONG!”
i’m feelin pretty burned out I guess

  • yo

Hey SESCOOP ADMIN, I really like the results page with the video’s and segment breakdown, great work! could you start a Smackdown one (if there isn’t one already, not sure)? Thanks :)

  • DEX

CM Punk should do something nasty with the urn… like piss in it or something… Will they allow that on Pee gee tv?

  • DEX

For people wondering btw if Cena turns heel, who can become the major face to replace him. I think that’s what Ryback is for.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002196281205 Kenneth Anderson Jr.

      And Sheamus

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Randy-James-Crawford/100001407556559 Randy James Crawford

There is only one way John Cena would be heel and that is if CM Punk is a face and John Cena would have to face Undertaker at Wrestlemania.
