i knew punk was going to win, however the outcome of ryback not grabbing the belt was just garbage imo

  • pwnez

Raw was horrible except for the Punk/Rock promo. If you enjoy pointless matches then you’ll love raw.

The promo Punk cut before the Rock came out was really good. It wasn’t his best but it was cool. Rock brought the entertainment while Punk was acting serious which was a great combo. I can’t wait to hear more promos from these two.

    • OhNo!

Raw was Entertaining. Idk about pointless matches. Cena vs Ziggler proved Cena is still the SuperCena. Team Hell No and Rhodes Scholars are keeping that fued alive. Antonio proved he can dominate giants. Punk vs Ryback TLC was a good match. They still kept The Shield relevant. Ryback didn’t job to Punk. And Punk is still the Best in the World.

But yea I agree, can’t wait to see how Rock is going to say for next few weeks since he knows now he can’t dance with the Punk like does with others. Punk owned him in that Promo and only thing Rock came up with is CookiePuss. Really? Really?? Really???

Road to RR is going to AWESOME!

      • OhNo!

Sorry about the spelling, grammar and other mistakes. I blame Safari on IOS.

      • BestInTheWorld

Rock pissed Cm Punk off more than you think. When he talked about Cm Punk failing to create a revolution, and getting those ice cream bars, you can literally see him standing with an embarrassed and hatred look. Although he did fire back with a vengeance..

        • iCode

Rock never pissed CM Punk off, Punk’s just a good at acting.

      • LueHaakon

No one got owned in that promo segment. It was two characters acting and talking from his own point of view running each other down – just like it should be. Rock uses comedy, water is also wet, but he tied it together with the serious message, which is to become champ at RR, in a way that only he can.

Rock is the only guy who’s able to implement more or less childish jokes in promos that in delivery and meaning are anything but childish.

Rock has more ethos (look it up) than anyone, and that’s why he gets away with it. Or rather, he doesn’t need to get away with it.

    • Rumble2013

They had chemistry, i literally got goosebumps. I can’t wait to see more physical contact and promos leading to Rumble. Forget Cena and Ziggler feud.

  • Backstreet Bungalow

Rock calling Punk Punkeye the Crackhead had me laughing. An alright show but nothing really to get excited about. A bunch of squash matches besides Cena/Ziggler, Ryback/Punk and Hell No/RS. I’m ready for them to lose the tag titles already, I’ve had enough of the same stuff from them every week. Haven’t watched SD lately but I’ll probably tune in to see who Rock makes fun of.

    • Curryman

snickers have nuts too lol he knew he messed up there

  • HellNoNO

I am extremely excited for CM Punk Vs Rock at the Rumble. I mean that promo between the two was amazing, well pretty much the ending. The best part is that there are more to come!

  • TheGr8One

Wouldn’t it be better if the Rock came out during the TLC match and would climb the ladder and would grab the title straight away? Just asking..

    • Indie wrestling sucks

      Your retarded.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Peer-Pressure/100000691268185 Peer Pressure

Notice how Punkeye The Crackhead has to break the fourth wall in order for him to cut a good promo. Granted, the stuff he says is usually true, like the shit he said about Tyson Kidd, but at the end of the day, that breaking the fourth wall shit is kind of getting old. Who he thinks he is? Deadpool! The Rock on the other hand stayed in character and cut an electrifying promo. Raw sucked by the way, there was only two good matches and Punk won one of them which ruined it for me. LOL! Even The Rock think punk looks like a dirty crackhead. His time is up, The Rock will be our new WWE champion in 20 days.

    • pwnez

The punkeye the crackhead joke wasn’t funny to me but the ice cream truck one was. Breaking the fourth wall and speaking the truth is Punk’s style, always has been. The crowd popped when he mentioned Tyson Kidd which I thought was cool. The Rock brought the entertainment, the jokes and catchphrases while Punk stayed serious which made this segment great. Both held their own for the most part.

The majority of matches sucked which didn’t surprise me. Their was no way Ryberg was going to win the WWE title; he doesn’t deserve it yet anyways. The fan who screamed Goldberg in his face made me laugh though.

      • DigitalWWE

The comparsions to Goldberg just make me laugh. A strong guy is suddenly named Goldberg. It’s not like when people were calling Mason Ryan Batista because he looked exactly like him. Calling Ryback Goldberg is just the hipster thing to do now.

      • BestInTheWorld

Breaking the forth wall is in desperate need to get over. Rock kind of broke it too when he talked about Cm Punk not revolutionising anything, and failing. Both men were serious, but Rock threw in some his Rocky jokes about Cm Punk complaining about respect.. Cm Punk also broke it but it wasn’t a biggie compared to what Cena did. He literally told all about backstage writers and writing, the stuff with Cm Punk, and the stuff with Ziggler, thats why i hate him. Cm Punk doesn’t do things to ruin the buisness, he does it to ruin someone’s character. Back to Rock and Punk. Punk seemed legitimately pissed which was good but when Rock started to put him over some on the mic about being dangerous and accomplishing 414 his look kind of changed a little. I feel The Rock likes Cm Punk and Cm Punk doesn’t hate The Rock now as much as he use to. It’s all buissness. Oh and i like how Cm Punk acually sells and doesn’t get up hoping around like some goof while holding his back.

    • cappa37

i do agree. Breaking the 4th wall is always going to get a pop from the smarks. Punk can’t stay in kayfabe, He’s horrible when he does… he almost broke kayfabe with Flair too.

    • JonzoNYC

Sorry guys but the Crackhead joke has no meaning when the guy your saying it to is a known Straight Edger. It totally took me out for a second. I was like “Wow Rock, resorting to his looks cuz you got nothing else”. Calling someone whose Straight Edge a crackhead is like telling a gay man that he eats too much vagina. Sorry but that was dumb. CM Punk is the Best in the World and if Rock really loves this business than Punk will be champ going in to Wrestlemania

  • showtime

I was there live tonight. pretty disappointing show as many matches were pointless (3mb wrestling twice… ugh) pro cena/good guy crowd tonight so you didnt feel the wrestling crowd similar to how I felt being in attendance at wrestlemania in miami last year. wwe still appears to be on a kick of letting most of the good guys win these last couple of weeks i guess its the holidays and they want the kids to be happy. Pretty predictable outcomes to matches. rock can still electrify the crowd however the promo between him and punk didnt come off as good live as it probably did on tv as you hear a bunch of annoying “what” chants in the audience. not worst show I have been to but certainly lukewarm going through the motions type of night. TLC match was okay for Raw standards as I wasnt expecting PPV quality but was placed poorly on the card. I guess I was spoiled to WM last year so its hard to feel impressed with this show.

  • tgabriel0891

Well that was a raw that went…nowhere. The only things to come out o this are rhodes scholars most likely getting a match for the tag titles which im all for. And pushing the Rock/Punk feud a little farther, other than that this was 3 hours of filler.

  • DigitalWWE

Rock said his storyline with his mania opponent will kick off tonight. Possibly Rock vs Punk at Rumble then rematch at mania?

  • BrickHouse

There was alot of corny shit on RAW, Kane and Bryan talking about monsters and nerds, John Cena saying weiner and just overrall saying some really weak shit to Ziggler, and then the Rock calling Punk Cookie puss?? I always thought the Rock to be a bit corny and I always preferred watching my boy Stone Cold over him, but cookie puss has to be the corniest shit that dude ever said man for real! Next time, I hope Rock hits the mic harder… And why didn’t Rock cuss like he always does? Is Vince limiting his shit now or what?

    • Bushwald Sexyface

He did somewhat. Dunno if you caught it or not but Punk did say bitch at the beginning of it and it wasnt censored.

    • LueHaakon

Rock is just proving a point. He can make the crowd chant literally anything.

Also, he has this strange gift of having anything he says sound awesome.

  • whos john cena

If 3MB can put themselves in the RR them im putiing myself in the RR.

  • Bushwald Sexyface

Terrible show with a good ending. I like how Rock stuck with his jokes but said them in a serious tone instead of being overly-goofy like he was with Cena – something that was helped by Punk’s lack of having stupid expressions on his face like Cena does. I feel like something was missing from Punk, whether he was a little caught up in the moment or just taken aback a little bit. I’m sure for him, it was a dream come true. I look forward to their exchanges over the next couple of weeks and I really hope they go with those 2 at Wrestlemania, if they dont do Rock and Taker. Kicking off the show with Cena felt like it sucked everything out of the show from the very start. It was hard for me to stay in it after that. And please, for the love of everything, do something with Orton soon. I am one of the few that thinks he is a great talent and I feel like they are wasting his prime years right now.

  • Finchinho

WOW, best promo ive seen in years, Punk was intense!!! Cant wait to see more from these two, really stoked for the rumble now…hope they build it to mania by having punk retain at the rumble but its looking like rock v cena II for the big show which does not interest me in the slightest…

  • ItsProgressNow

HA go find my post from last month predicting the Punk vs Ryback match result, it’s spot on, word for word

It doesn’t matter that you matter! Priceless.

  • morrisonfanone

I swear I have never liked the Rock before last night. That promo was priceless. The whole “It doesn’t matter if you matter” thing was hilarious.

  • http://twitter.com/JordanZelisko Jordan Zelisko

“When you step into that ring Rock, know that your arms are just too short to box with god” – CM Punk

  • Darth

I absolutely loved Punk’s promo. I was glued to the TV when he started talking. I wasn’t a fan of Rock’s promo at all. It seemed like everything Punk was saying, The Rock did it. i.e. catering to the fans, saying the city name. His promo just didn’t really stick out. It felt the like the same theme as the one from Rock vs. Cena. Arrive, say your millions and millions, your finally, make up a name you want to trend on twitter, talk a little trash, end.

  • conky

loved the Daniel Bryan reference in Punks promo

  • Mike C

This time Cm Punk’s shoot promo was weak and he had no good. no one remember his title match against jericho, del rio and all his other weak oppenents. hes livin off that Summer of Punk when he did good at Money in the bank and summerslam with Cena. he disses the other wrestler for catch phrases and t shirts and hes wearin a knees to faces t shirt that wwe made 4 him. hypocritical 2 the fullest. CM Punk is not having classic title matches, hes not pushin other talent, he holds the belt, says he the best but his hype always falls flat with the in ring matches, cena worked really hard 2 push punk during their matches
