Those are pretty good numbers ending the traditional PPV buyrates.

Curious to see how they will evaluate the WWE Network buyrates.

I’m not really surprised. Last year’s RR had The Rock in his first title match in seven years so the amount of buys would be a lot higher than usual. If you compare it to the 2012 RR, the 2014 RR did better by around 2,000 buys. As for EC, the difference isn’t large even adding the fact The Rock was featured in last year’s PPV as well so I think these are decent numbers..

and that’s only because Rock is a proven draw and is one of the only people who still can change a buyrate on his own, usually its big dream matches but never just a person. Rock-Punk storyline > Cena-Orton,Bray-Bryan and Batista. What else do you expect to do better. .

I’m guessing that Rock-Cena,Punk-Taker,HHH-Brock > Triplethreat/fatal fourway, Cena-Wyatt, Taker-Lesnar by a mile in terms of buys for Wrestlemania

The commentators usually say something about “thousands here with us tonight and to the millions watching around the world…” Has any PPV other than some of the ‘manias ever actually sold a million PPVs ? lol

Sometimes people come together to watch a PPV, so the number of people watching is significantly higher than the number of PPVs sold. Plus all those people watching per stream or download shouldn’t be forgotten.
Not to forget that “millions” watching at home sounds a lot better than “hundreds of thousands”…

Look at that! CM Punk left after royal rumble and the ppv buys is less than half that of the previous ppv… CM Punk is best for business yo
